FanDuel MLB DFS Lineup Picks (6/14/18): Daily Fantasy Baseball Advice

Tom Vecchio highlights the top FanDuel MLB DFS lineup picks for 6/14/18.

We have a split slate of games, with five in the early window and only four on the night slate. There are some solid options regardless of what slate you are trying to play, so I'll try and hit on a few players from each slate.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 6/14/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Justin Verlander - P, HOU @ OAK (FD - $11,400)

Verlander comes in with a 27% strikeout rate, which is highest on the slate, along with having an 11% swinging strike rate. He has put up seven or more strikeouts in six of his last eight starts and is now up against Oakland team who has a 23% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitchers this year. This is a great pitcher's park, which should allow him to limit the damage, as he's done in nearly every start this year. He has 14 starts under his belt this year and has allowed two earned runs or fewer in 12 of those starts.

Mike Clevinger - P, CLE @ CWS (FD - $8,800)

Clevinger is a bit of a riskier option on this slate but has some good upside vs the White Sox. The danger with Clevinger comes from the fact he has 10% walk rate and has allowed three or more walks in four of his last five starts. That puts him in a spot where he can get himself into trouble and give the opposing team easier runs. The upside comes from his 25% strikeout rate, combined with the White Sox coming in with a 24% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitchers. Plenty of risks, but the strikeouts should be there.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Paul Goldschmidt - 1B, ARI vs NYM (FD - $4,500)

Play Paul Goldschmidt today. It can be that simple is you want it to be. He is very hot right now, with a nine-game hitting streak in the works. He has six doubles, four home runs, and 11 RBIs over this span. Today he has a great matchup in front of him, as he has a MASSIVE .498 wOBA and a .418 ISO this season vs left-handed pitchers. You should be doing everything you can to get him into your lineups.

Asdrubal Cabrera - 2B, NYM @ ARI (FD - $2,900)

Cabrera isn't too expensive today and is facing off against Matt Koch, who is giving up a 43% hard contact rate vs left-handed hitters this season. Cabrera is cold right now, with only one hit in his last four games. Bet on the upside here, for a player at a cheaper price.

Alex Bregman - 3B, HOU @ OAK (FD - $4,300)

Bregman had the day off yesterday, so he should be set to rejoin the Astros lineup tonight. He has a .362 wOBA and a solid .162 ISO vs right-handed pitchers this season. The righties in the Astros lineup will continue to rake vs righties this season, and there should be no reason you are shying away from them. He has a 10-game hitting streak in the works, so is should be interested to see if he can keep it going after the day off.

Francisco Lindor - SS, CLE @ CWS (FD - $5,000)

Lindor will be up against the White Sox pitcher Rodon today, who only has one start under his belt this season. I'd be willing to bet on the consistency of Lindor, against a pitcher who is just getting stretched out this late in the season. Lindor has a .424 wOBA and a .185 ISO this season vs left-handed pitchers.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Travis Jankowski - OF, SDP @ ATL (FD - $2,700)

Jankowski is a much cheaper option when it comes to the outfield today and will have the platoon split against Anibal Sanchez. Jankowski comes in with a respectable .325 wOBA vs right-handed pitchers this season, so not a complete punt play. He is a bit cold right now, but the savings are too good to pass on.

Andrew Benintendi - OF, BOS @ SEA (FD - $4,900)

Benintendi is looking good this year and comes in with a .416 wOBA vs right-handed pitchers. This is a big-time negative park shift for him and all of the Red Sox offense, but they are up against Felix Hernandez, who is giving up a .351 wOBA to left-handed hitters, along with 1.80 HR/9. More of a GPP play, but still some power upside here.
