FanDuel MLB DFS Lineup Picks (3/30/19): Daily Fantasy Baseball Advice

Tom Vecchio highlights the top FanDuel MLB DFS lineup picks for 3/30/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

We have four games in the early window and six games on the main slate, with a few in between those. Let's take a look at some options on the entire day so you can have some choices regardless of what slate you are playing.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/30/19. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom

FanDuel DFS Pitchers

James Paxton - P, NYY vs BAL (FD - $10,400)

Big Maple will be making his first start in a Yankee uniform today and comes at home as a -370 favorite against the lowly Orioles. Plenty of win equity here along with a 32.3% strikeout rate from last season should make him one of the most popular options on the early slate. The Orioles finished last season with a 23.6% strikeout rate versus left-handed pitchers, which is one of the worst rates for any team in action today. His 34% hard contact rate could be an issue, so don't expect a shutout today.

Tyler Anderson - P, COL @ MIA (FD - $8,000)

For my money, Anderson is a legit good pitcher and with a positive park shift in his favor tonight, you should want plenty of him in your lineup. That park shift is coming since he is away from Coors Field and in Miami today, which is one of the best pitcher's parks in the league. He finished last season with a 22.3% strikeout rate which puts him outside of the elite options, but the Marlins are just so bad and carried a team wOBA of .293 vs left-handed pitchers last season.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Yasmani Grandal - C, MIL vs STL (FD - $2,900)

Grandal is very cheap today and will be up against Cardinals pitcher Dakota Hudson who has very little major league experience. We want to trust the Brewers and their powerful offense to get the job done, along with Grandal and his .361 wOBA and .240 versus RHP.

Anthony Rizzo - 1B, CHC @ TEX (FD - $4,500)

The Cubs got their season off to a hot start the to season the other day with 12 runs and that is certainly on the table again today. Great hitter's park in Texas which is partly why they come in with the second highest implied team total today at 5.02. Rizzo comes in with a .378 wOBA and a .211 ISO versus right-handed pitchers, which should make him a top option today.

Gleyber Torres - 2B, NYY vs BAL (FD - $3,100)

Torres should be hitting in the middle of the lineup for the Yankees and with their 6.42 implied run total, which is the highest on the slate, we want to be loading them up in all formats. We know what we are getting from the Yankees, super expensive hitters, but they have home run upside when they are at home. A stack would be great against this bad Orioles team, just a matter of affording them today.

Jeimer Candelario - 3B, DET @ TOR (FD - $2,800)

Candelario is up against Aaron Sanchez who allowed a .380 wOBA, 1.12 HR/9, and a 33% hard contact rate to left-handed hitters last season. Candelario has a great price today and the Tigers come in with a sneaky 4.03 implied run total. If Sanchez is a bit home run prone against left-handed hitters, this spot for the Tigers, even though they are a bad team, could be interesting to stack in tournaments.

Jean Segura - SS, PHI vs ATL (FD - $3,600)

Getting a part of the Phillies lineup is going to be a theme for a lot of people this season and it shouldn't come as any surprise, especially today with their 4.83 implied run total which is the third highest on the slate. Last season he finished with a modest .319 wOBA against right-handed pitchers but a super low 11.6% strikeout rate, which means he gets on base but may not be explosive. I like him in a stack since you want the Philly power options around him.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Corey Dickerson - OF, PIT @ CIN (FD - $3,200)

Dickerson and the Pirates are getting a positive park shift in their favor today since they are at the Great American Small Park, which is one of the better hitter's parks in the league. They will be facing off against Sonny Gray who allowed a .321 wOBA to lefties last season, along with a 37% hard contact rate. Pirates are a very affordable stack today and could be paired off with any team.

Joey Gallo - OF, TEX vs CHC (FD - $3,800)

There aren't many players who truly bring multi-home run upside most games, but Gallo is one of them. He finished last season with a .343 wOBA and a very powerful .274 ISO versus right-handed pitchers, which should put him on auto home run watch today. He is also up against Yu Darvish who battled injuries all last season and allowed 1.89 HR/9 to lefties.
