FanDuel, DraftKings MNF DFS Lineup Picks: Daily Fantasy Football for Week 14

Gage Bridgford (@GbridgfordNFL) highlights the top FanDuel NFL DFS lineup picks for Monday Night Football for Week 14 of the 2019 season, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building MNF daily fantasy rosters.

Monday Night Football is here, and the New York Giants (2-10) are heading South to take on the Philadelphia Eagles (5-7) who will be looking to bounce back and tighten the race in the NFC East between them and the Dallas Cowboys (6-7).

However, we're not here for that. We're here to make some money in daily fantasy lineups. The Eagles have been impossible to figure out this year, and they're surprisingly still in the playoff hunt. Meanwhile, the struggling Giants are starting quarterback Eli Manning this week, which should be interesting.

Whether you're playing on FanDuel or DraftKings, the slightest lineup constructions can make all the difference. Choosing one player over another is the difference between winning a little or a lot. So, let's look at how we're going to construct our lineups.

Editor's Note: The FFPC Playoff Challenge #2 is back with a massive $100,000 grand prize and $203,250 total prize pool, paying down to 100th place. Here's the deal: no salary cap, no draft, no pickups, no subs. Choose 8 players, and as NFL teams get knocked out so will your players, so choose your team wisely. The entries will sell out quickly, and registrations will close on Saturday January 17th at 4:30 pm ET . Don't wait - get your team now and end your fantasy football season with a shot at $100,000! DFS Quarterbacks - Week 14 Picks

Carson Wentz, PHI - FanDuel $15,500 / DraftKings $11,800

I mean, this is about the most no-brainer decision on tonight's slate. Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz has struggled this year, but, with his full slate of weapons back, he went off in Week 13. In Week 14, he gets an overmatched defense in the Giants Defense, and he's not obscenely priced either. Fitting him into lineups will be relatively easy, and the only way you're not playing him is with a contrarian lineup to try and be different.

Eli Manning, NYG - FanDuel $13,000 / DraftKings $8,200

The upside of Manning is that he's a good bit cheaper than Wentz because the previous starting quarterback Daniel Jones (foot) was announced as out during the week after the prices had been set. Manning is going up against a defense that has been soft against the pass this season, and he has all of his weapons outside of tight end Evan Engram (foot). If you're going for Manning, it will be a little cheaper, but it won't be a ton of upside.

DFS Running Backs - Week 14 Picks

Saquon Barkley, NYG - FD $13,500 / DK $10,600

Manning hasn't played in over two months, and his arm strength is fading. Enter, running back Saquon Barkley. Barkley has disappointed in comparison to his rookie season, but he's still supremely talented, especially in the receiving game. Manning should look in his direction often which is great in DFS. He may not get a ton going in the running game, but he should be able to get a fair bit of value pretty easily.

Miles Sanders, PHI - FD $13,000 / DK $8,600

If running back Jordan Howard (shoulder) ends up missing this game, Sanders' stock shoots way up. He brings value in the passing game, and the Giants' defense leaves a lot to be desired. They're around the middle of the pack, and, with the offense likely to struggle, the Eagles should be leaning on the running game for much of the game. Sanders should receive a hefty workload.

Jordan Howard (shoulder) receives consideration if he plays, but he has yet to be cleared for contact as of Sunday night.

DFS Wide Receivers - Week 14 Picks

Alshon Jeffery, PHI - FD $14,000 / DK $9,200

The easy stack with Wentz ends right here with wide receiver Alshon Jeffrey. In his return from injury last week, Alshon had 16 targets which were nine more than any other Philly pass-catcher. Wentz was looking his way often, and that will continue in Week 14 against the Giants' defense that ranks 31st in the NFL in points allowed to wide receivers. He's somewhat expensive, but you can find value elsewhere.

Golden Tate, NYG - FD $11,500 / DK $8,000

We're getting a little cheaper with this one. Tate has largely underwhelmed this season, but he could see a good game this week. The Eagles' defense is 27th against wide receivers, and they haven't shown the consistent ability to slow down even the worst passing offenses that they've gone against. He may not have a ton of volume, but he should catch five to seven passes and maybe a touchdown.

Sterling Shepard, NYG - FD $10,500 / DK $7,200

The most obvious stack if you go with Eli is with wideout Sterling Shepard. After finally clearing his injuries, the Giants have their best wide receiver back in the fold. He's got the speed to make big plays, but he can also give Manning a consistent safety valve on every play. He has a little bit of experience with Eli which could result in more targets over some of the other newer faces the Giants have.

DFS Tight Ends - Week 14 Picks

Zach Ertz, PHI - FD $13,500 / DK $9,400

Eagles' tight end Zach Ertz was dealing with some injuries last week, but he's still one of the five best tight ends in the NFL. He's healthy this week, and, when Wentz isn't looking for Jeffery, he's looking for Ertz, who is a mismatch nightmare. The Giants have been a top-five defense against tight ends this season, but they also haven't faced Ertz yet. He's one of the safer plays in fantasy, especially in this Monday night matchup.

Dallas Goedert, PHI - FD $9,000 / DK $ 4,800

Usually, I'd go with the starting tight end for the opponent, but I don't have a ton of faith in rookie Kaden Smith. Eagles' tight end Dallas Goedert would be starting for a lot of teams in the NFL. Instead, he's backing up one of the NFL's best. He's got the great size that helps him in the red zone, and his quarterback likes to use tight ends. If Ertz has a quiet game, it's likely that Goedert is having a pretty decent game on the other side.

DFS Defenses - Week 14 Picks

Eagles Defense - DK $5,800

I'm not a huge fan of the price tag that you have on the Eagles this week, but it does fit. The pass rush has improved of late, and Manning is likely going to have a fair bit of rush to shake off, especially early in the game. With the pressure that the Eagles put on the quarterback, they can get after Eli early and try to force him to make a mistake. If they can capitalize on it, they could have a big night.
