FanDuel Studs: Our Best DFS Lineup Picks for Fantasy Football

Each week here at RotoBaller, we provide the subscribers of our DFS Lineup Picks of the Week Newsletter with some of the highest quality advice for salary cap fantasy football on FanDuel.  We also have lots of great FanDuel analysis weekly, so be sure to check back.

Why We Love Weekly FanDuel Football

Are you looking for some more fantasy football action, and want to get involved in weekly DFS games on FanDuel? I know I am. Are you one of those people whose fantasy football team is sporting a lackluster record through the first four weeks of the 2014 NFL season? Are you not that happy with the team you drafted this year in fantasy football? Maybe you are a frustrated AP, Mathews, Knowshon or Ingram owner (just to mention a few disappointments). Well we have the perfect remedy for your fantasy football appetite.

The weekly format of FanDuel fantasy football is just what the doctor ordered. Draft a new team each week, and battle it out against your friends or as many opponents as you please on FanDuel. It's my favorite way to supplement my fantasy football teams, and plug-and-play guys that I wish I owned in my leagues on a weekly basis. After all there's nothing like owning Megatron or LeSean McCoy for one week, when you missed out on them in all of your season-long fantasy football leagues.

Looking for An Edge?

If you play salary cap leagues on FanDuel, then our expert picks can give you the edge you need to win. Each week we analyze the player matchups, and the associated pricing on FanDuel, to identify the sleepers and value picks to put together a winning lineup. With each newsletter, you will receive our well-researched weekly picks for each position, with both a “Strong Play” and a “Value Play”, and we will also include two or three budget buster tournament plays for each position. All in all, you will be receiving a minimum of 12 of our expertly hand-picked recommendations for your gaming pleasure!

We’ve reprinted some of RotoBaller’s lineup picks from last week’s subscribers-only exclusive newsletter to give you an idea of the FanDuel analysis that we put forward each and every week. As you can see below, our experts had some sweet recommendations for Week 4 lineups, so hopefully you got in on the action! And if not, no worries, there’s still plenty of time for Week 5 and beyond.

A Recap of Some DFS Lineup Picks from Week 4

QB (Strong) – Philip Rivers ($8,400) - When we start our analysis each and every week for DFS play, our strategy is to target the worst defenses in the league, and try to get into the action as heavily as possible. For Week 4 the winner is clearly Philip Rivers and the Chargers offense, as they get the Jaguars 2nd worst overall defense in the league. So here we go recommending our favorite ace quarterback.

In 3 games, Jacksonville has given up 918 passing yards, 8.1 YPA and 8 touchdowns (good for second worst in the league). On the flip side, Rivers is having another great start to a season posting a 108.3 QB rating and 6 passing touchdowns through the first 3 games of the year.

We recommend you save over a thousand dollars and bypass Andrew Luck or Aaron Rodgers for this bye week crunch; you'll need those extra shekels for the stud wide receivers we'll be recommending.

Result: 377 passing yards, 3 TD, 0 INT - BULLSEYE

QB (Value) - Jay Cutler ($8,100) - If  it weren't for the fact that he's cheaper than Phillip Rivers by a few hundo, we'd be recommending this undervalued stud as our #1 QB for Week 4 of DFS play.

Going up against the shockingly bad overall Packers defense (even though the splits of their pass defense shows more strength than in their run defense), the Vegas totals are high for this game with a projected 50+ total points. Cutler has also averaged a robust 29.6 points per contest through 3 weeks and that is bordering on elite thus far in 2014.

One way or another, Jay Cutler and the Bears wide receivers are going to get their high powered offense some scoring chances and we're confident that with all the factors in play, we could be in for a good old fashioned air show in Chicago in Week 4.

Result: 256 passing yards, 29 rushing yards, 2 TD, 2 INT - HIT

WR (Strong) - Antonio Brown ($8,400) - This guy is perennially overlooked on draft day as he usually slips past many of the bigger names in the NFL, but this PPR machine is one of the game's best and most consistent performers year in and year out.

Priced very fairly for a number one WR option in a bye week crunch, we absolutely love this undervalued DFS stud's matchup against the Tampa Bay Bucaneers pass defense that has hemorrhaged 262 passing yards per contest, to go along with a not so sexy 5 passing touchdowns surrendered.

Expect Ben Roethlisberger and his main man Antonio Brown to conduct business as usual while they dismantle the Bucs in Week 4.

Result: 7 receptions, 131 receiving yards, 2 TD - BULLSEYE

WR (Value) - Kelvin Benjamin ($6,700) - This young man is starting to remind us of the game's best big bodied stud wide receivers like Megatron and Brandon Marshall, and the best part is that he's essentially Cam Newton's only legit target besides talented tight end Greg Olsen. Get this legit sleeper into the mix against a Ravens pass defense that has allowed 287 passing yards per contest thus far (good for 25th worst in the league).

Result: 5 receptions, 76 receiving yards, 1 TD - BULLSEYE

WR (Value) - Keenan Allen ($6,700) - We know that he hasn't been lighting it up thus far in 2014, but this week is the one he gets it going big time. Facing the Jaguars' horrific defense that is surrendering a league worst 306 yards per game will surely yield a nice pay day for owners who decide to pair up Phillip Rivers and his #1 receiving option.

Result: 10 receptions, 175 receiving yards - BULLSEYE

RB (Strong) - Eddie Lacy ($8,000) - It's been a horror show for Eddie Lacy and the Green Bay Packers' offense for most of the 2014 season, and that's the exact reason his price tag is depressed enough for us to be recommending him to you going into a Week 4 divisional showdown.

Going up against the Bears' lowly run defense that has surrendered an average of 144.7 yards per game to opposing backs, we love this post draft-hype sleeper's chance of returning huge on your investment in Week 4. Don't be scared by his past few putrid performances against the numbers 1 and 2 Jets and Lions run defenses because after those matchups, this get back week should be a statement game

Result: 59 rushing yards, 2 receptions, 6 receiving yards, 1 TD - HIT

RB (Value) - Lamar Miller ($6,900) - Don't puke in your moth just yet because this young man is finally producing in the absence of Knowshon Moreno, and doing it with a very cheap price tag. Having a great game last week against a weak Chiefs' defense, Miller gets Oakland's second worst rush defense in the entire league. With 158.7 YPG and Miller running with authority, we love his sleeper appeal across the pond for Week 4.

Result: 64 rushing yards, 2 receptions, 3 receiving yards, 2 TD - BULLSEYE

Martellus Bennett - ($6,000) - He did it last week on our recommendation and he'll do it again in Week 4. This stud is playing in a game with very high Vegas totals, so scoring opportunities will be in abundance versus the Packers.

Result: 9 receptions, 134 receiving yards - BULLSEYE
