FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks (7/22/16): MLB DFS Advice

Jason Bales highlights the top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for 7/22/16. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your FanDuel MLB DFS lineups.

The Atlanta Braves are hitting in Colorado tonight, so watch out for that. There are some other great options tonight as well. Should you use Madison Bumgarner against the New York Yankees in Yankee Stadium? Read on to find out.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for FanDuel on 7/22/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on FanDuel.

Editor's Note: RotoBaller offers the best Premium MLB Subscription - only $1.99 per week. DFS Lineup Stacks to Target for FanDuel

Boston Red Sox

The Boston Red Sox make for a great stack tonight against the Minnesota Twins and Kyle Gibson. Gibson is one of the worst pitchers in the league, and the Red Sox rarely do not take advantage of a great matchup. Stack them in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Arizona Diamondbacks

The Arizona Diamondbacks are a very hard team to judge. Some night, they hit the cover off the ball. Some nights, they struggle in a great matchup. Tonight, they are hitting in Cincinnati against Dan Straily. Cincinnati is even better than Arizona for hitters, and their power hitters should take advantage. Use them in tournaments.

Atlanta Braves

The Atlanta Braves are hitting in Colorado tonight against the Rockies. There is really nothing else that needs to be said.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel

Yu Darvish

Madison Bumgarner is the best pitching option on the board tonight, but he gets a tough matchup against the New York Yankees, so feel free to fire up Yu Darvish in his place. Darvish gets a solid matchup against the Kansas City Royals, and he has great upside. He is a sneaky tournament option.

Tanner Roark

Tanner Roark has been very solid and pretty consistent for the better half of the season so far. He gets a great matchup tonight against the San Diego Padres, and he should at least hit value. He can be used in all formats.

DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel

Catcher (C) - J.T. Realmuto

J.T. Realmuto does not get the best matchup on the board tonight, but he has been very hot of recent. With a hit in six of his last seven games, it is very likely that he does not put up the ol' goose egg. Use him in tournaments for his upside.

First Base (1B) - David Ortiz

David Ortiz is a home run hitting machine. He gets a great matchup against the Minnesota Twins, and while Hanley Ramirez may be the talk of the town right now, Ortiz is the better play. Use him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Second Base (2B) - Daniel Murphy

Daniel Murphy went on a cold streak for a little while before the All-Star break, but he is back in action now. With 10 plus fantasy points in seven of his last 10 games, there is no slowing him down. He will likely hit value tonight and can be used in all formats.

Shortstop (SS) - Aledmys Diaz

Right now, it does not matter who Aledmys Diaz is matched up against. He is crushing the ball every single game, and the Los Angeles Dodgers are not going to be able to slow him down. Use him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Third Base (3B) - Adonis Garcia

Adonis Garcia is entirely too cheap tonight against the Colorado Rockies in Coors Field. He has a ton of power, and hitting in the elevated stadium in Colorado is going to help him even more. With 15 plus fantasy points in two of his last three games, he is a near must-play option.

DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel

Adam Duvall

Adam Duvall is hitting in Cincinnati tonight against the Arizona Diamondbacks and Archie Bradley. He has a ton of power and upside. Use him in tournaments, but avoid him in 50/50 contests tonight.

Carlos Gonzalez

Carlos Gonzalez is too cheap; plain and simple. There is no reason for his price tag to get that low when he is at home. Use him in all lineups.
