ANALYSIS: Edmundo Sosa is one of the unsung heroes of the Philadelphia Phillies -- one of baseball's best teams through the first third of the season. The utility man has stepped up in a big way as the everyday shortstop while Trea Turner has been hurt and has been a solid fantasy asset in the process.
Sosa is hitting .294 on the season with 19 runs, four home runs, and 16 RBI. He's rarely had the chance to be an everyday player as a major leaguer and is making the most of his opportunity.

Sosa's bat has been so invaluable to the Phillies that they have discussed getting him some reps in the outfield in case Brandon Marsh's injury keeps him out for an extended period of time. It sounds as if Philadelphia wants to make him a super sub and that he could see pretty regular at-bats for much of the season.
He's rosterable in most formats right now as long as he continues to start every day. He has the potential to produce on a nightly basis as part of the juggernaut that is the Phillies offense.
