DraftKings NBA DFS Picks for Today (Tuesday, 4/1/25): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Devin Booker - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball, Value Plays

Max Kulish's top DraftKings NBA DFS picks for today, Tuesday, 4/1/25. His favorite daily fantasy basketball lineup sleepers and value picks for DraftKings DFS.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! Tonight we have a six-game slate, headlined by Suns at Bucks on TNT. These articles focus on the best plays, typically more suited for cash games. However, some exceptions may apply, depending on the size of the slate.

The key to succeeding in NBA DFS is making adjustments during the day as injury information becomes available. But it's always essential to have a game plan and zero in on the best players and spots before making those adjustments. To keep up with all the latest developments and get access to updated projections, grab an NBA season pass and access our RotoBaller Premium Discord, where @chiefjustice6 is talking about the slate up until lineups lock!

This article will provide my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/1/25. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our excellent NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:30 p.m. EDT on DraftKings. Good luck, RotoBallers!

Featured Promo: New Novig users get a $25 purchase match (50% discount up to $25) on your first Novig deposit, and 6 free months of RotoBaller's "Big-4" Premium Pass (NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL) which includes exclusive tools for Betting, Props, DFS and more! CLAIM IT NOW

DraftKings NBA DFS Core Picks

Devin Booker, PHX - PG ($9.7K)

Kevin Durant suffered an ankle injury that will keep him out for at least a week, meaning the Suns' offense will run heavily through Booker. Booker is a textbook cash game play tonight, and he will be one of the most highly-owned players on the slate tonight.

Paolo Banchero, ORL - PF ($9.9K)

Banchero topped off the best month of his professional career by being named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week yesterday. In March, Banchero averaged a 30-7.7-4.4 stat line and 47.3 fantasy PPG over the 14 games he played. He gets one of the best matchups in the NBA tonight with the Spurs.

The Spurs' defense has allowed 120+ points in five of their last six games, and they are one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA, which is a perfect fit for Paolo, who operates as the Magic's small-ball center.

Others Under Consideration: Ja Morant, MEM - PG ($9K), Immanuel Quickley, TOR - PG ($7.1K)

DraftKings NBA DFS Tournament Pivots

Coby White, CHI - SG/SF ($8.4K)

White has been on fire lately for the Bulls, averaging 27.8/4.5/4 in 14 games in March. White has always relied on scoring to power his fantasy production, and he's had no problem doing that lately. His lack of production in the non-scoring parts of the game can lead to volatility, but sometimes you have to ride the hot hand.

OG Anunoby, NYK - SF/PF ($7.3K)

Anunoby has continued to play extremely well while the Knicks are down Jalen Brunson. Anunoby is now averaging over 40 fantasy PPG during the 11-game span that Brunson has been sidelined. He would typically be more of a core play, but the Knicks are 14.5-point home favorites, and the Sixers are blatantly tanking. If he can see a normal workload, he should be a solid play, but the game environment should help keep ownership in check.

Others Under Consideration: Deni Avdija, POR - SF/PF ($8.1K), Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL - PF/C ($12.1K), Jakob Poeltl, TOR - C ($6.6K)

DraftKings NBA DFS Value Picks

The Rest of the Suns

The Suns have a trio of players, Grayson Allen, Royce O'Neale, and Tyus Jones, who should all see more minutes due to KD's absence, and all three are priced within $100 of each other, making this a huge pressure point on the slate. Whoever is announced as the starter will ultimately draw the most ownership, so keep that in mind when playing tournaments.

If the Suns replace Durant and don't make any further changes to their starting five, I guess that O'Neale is the guy to roster, based on his defensive capabilities compared to the other two.

Ryan Rollins, MIL - PG ($4.3K)

Unsurprisingly, the Bucks have struggled since losing Damian Lillard indefinitely. Rollins has been productive in his last two games since rejoining Milwaukee's starting lineup, and tonight he has a favorable matchup against a subpar Suns' perimeter defense.

Others Under Consideration: Landry Shamet, NYK - SG/SF ($3.4K), Ja'Kobe Walker, TOR - SG/SF ($4.1K), Adem Bona, PHI - C ($4.9K)

Today's Top NBA DFS Game Stacks

Raptors at Bulls (235.5 O/U)

The easiest game to fully stack on the slate, featuring two bad defenses. This game has plenty of good pieces for reasonable prices, due to numerous injuries for both teams.

Blazers at Hawks (238.5 O/U)

This game has the highest implied total on the slate and is a great game to focus on for tournaments. Should Anfernee Simons and/or Jerami Grant miss the game, it would open up some viable cheap plays on the Portland side.

My Favorite NBA DFS Picks for Today

Here is where I leave you with some of my favorites.

  • My favorite OVERALL play on the slate: Devin Booker
  • My favorite CASH play on the slate: Paolo Banchero
  • My favorite GPP play on the slate: OG Anunoby
  • My favorite VALUE play: Suns' KD Replacement
