Max Kulish's top DraftKings NBA DFS picks for today, Tuesday, 3/25/25. His favorite daily fantasy basketball lineup sleepers and value picks for DraftKings DFS.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! Tonight we have an eight-game slate, headlined by Warriors at Heat, followed by Thunder at Kings on TNT. These articles focus on the best plays, typically more suited for cash games. However, some exceptions may apply, depending on the size of the slate.

The key to succeeding in NBA DFS is making adjustments during the day as injury information becomes available. But it's always essential to have a game plan and zero in on the best players and spots before making those adjustments. DraftKings NBA DFS Core Picks

Cade Cunningham, DET - PG ($10.5K)

Cunningham has finally started consistently showing the potential that caused him to be the No. 1 pick in 2021. He's averaging 51+ fantasy PPG over his last 10 games and boasts one of the highest usage rates in the NBA this season (32.1 percent).

Cunningham is coming off a rest day and gets a soft matchup against the Spurs at home. The Pistons have one of the highest team totals on the slate, and if they do hit that number, it's hard to imagine Cunningham isn't heavily involved.

Paolo Banchero, ORL - PF ($9.8K)

Banchero has been on a heater lately, averaging 56.3 fantasy points per game over his last five contests. Always a triple-double threat, Banchero's fantasy outputs have ballooned due to his massive shooting volume.

Banchero has shot 57-of-119 (47.8 percent) from the floor over his last five games, making multiple threes in each game. This type of volume is tough to ignore for cash games, and Banchero's ownership should be kept in check due to the low implied total for this game (217).

Others Under Consideration: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, OKC - PG ($11.2K), Darius Garland, CLE - PG ($8K)

 

DraftKings NBA DFS Tournament Pivots

Jimmy Butler III, GS - SF/PF ($8.7K)

Butler has never been one to shy away from speaking out against an organization ("Tobias Harris over me?!"). He's shown throughout his career that he will hold a grudge against a team he feels he was wronged by.

Butler returns to Miami for the first time since being traded, and with Stephen Curry returning from injury, the Warriors may lean on Butler tonight. Butler has played well since being traded from Miami, but with Curry returning, his price tag should keep his ownership relatively low.

OG Anunoby, NYK - SF/PF ($6.9K)

The Knicks are missing Jalen Brunson and his playmaking abilities, but Anunoby hasn't let that affect his fantasy outputs. Anunoby is averaging 37.5 fantasy PPG in the eight-game stretch that Brunson has missed time. He's posted 40+ fantasy points in half of those games, so in his current role, he has a very accessible ceiling while trying to help replace the 26.2 points Brunson averages per game.

Others Under Consideration: Onyeka Okongwu, ATL - C ($7.6K), Jaren Jackson Jr., MEM - PF/C ($7.8K), Tyler Herro, MIA - PG ($8.3K)

DraftKings NBA DFS Value Picks

Scotty Pippen Jr., PG ($5K)

Ja Morant is slated to miss his fifth straight game for Memphis, and with a matchup against the 29th-ranked defense against PGs, this is a great spot for his backup.

Pippen rejoined the Grizzlies starting unit in the last game, pushing Luke Kennard back to the bench. Pippen had been playing well even before Morant went down; he averaged 28 fantasy PPG in the four games before Morant's absence. In the last three games without Morant, that number is up to 36.4.

Cameron Payne, NYK - PG/SG ($4.6K)

With Brunson and Miles McBride ruled out, New York's starting PG responsibilities have once again fallen on Payne's shoulders. Rejoining the starting five in the last game, Payne posted 31.5 fantasy points in 30 minutes. He'll undoubtedly be one of the most widely owned players on the slate tonight.

Others Under Consideration: Julian Champagnie, SAS - SG/SF ($3.8K), Johnny Juzang, UTA - SG/SF ($3.3K), Kessler Edwards, DAL - PF/C ($3.8K)

 

Today's Top NBA DFS Game Stacks

Grizzlies at Jazz (240.5 O/U)

This game is head and shoulders above the rest on paper tonight: highest implied total on the slate by five points, plenty of value plays on both sides due to injury, and only three players priced at $7K or higher. This game is incredibly easy to stack, and in cash games, it should take at least two to three of your roster spots.

Spurs at Pistons (235 O/U)

I touched on this game earlier when talking about Cunningham, but this game has the second-highest implied total on the slate, and it's incredibly easy to stack both sides. A key name to watch for on the injury report is Stephon Castle, the Spurs' leading scorer since the All-Star break. His absence would make the Spurs the cheapest team on average on the slate.
