DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (1/8/18): NBA DFS Lineups

Hopefully, everyone had a fantastic weekend. We kick off the week with eight games on a Monday that is filled with some solid players available to hopefully help you win your DFS contest.

Below you will find our daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/8/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options, to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings. You can also read more DFS lineup picks for FanDuel and other sports too.

As always, please check player status prior to lock time. Give me a follow on Twitter @Den_Clausen. Good luck and Let's get started!

DraftKings DFS Guards

DeMar DeRozan - SG/SF, @ BKN ($8,800)

DeMar DeRozan has been absolutely lit this season. With Kyle Lowry taking a step back to allow him to do his thing, the Raptors are a legit threat at capturing the Eastern Conference by the time everything is said and done with DeRozan being a big reason for that. He already dropped 31 on Brooklyn this season and did it shooting 73 percent from the field. Will he do that again? Probably not, but then again, it is the Nets we are talking about here.

Kris Dunn - PG/SG, vs. HOU ($6,800)

Kris Dunn and the Bulls will head to Houston to meet up with the James Harden-less Rockets. Dunn has been handed the keys to the offense by coach Hoiberg and has responded with some pretty stellar showings, averaging nearly 15 points and nine assists per outing over the last 10. He does have some consistency issues to work though, but with the right matchup, like the one he has against the Rockets, there is always a chance that he will break out for a solid DFS performance.

Gerald Green - SG/SF, @ CHI ($5,500)

If you haven't been paying attention to what Gerald Green has been doing, let me fill you in. Over the last five games, he is averaging nearly 20 points per game and is doing it while shooting a healthy 53 percent from both the field and from behind the arc. While I was spending some quality time with my brother-in-law (hi Doug) watching Syracuse get beat up by Norte Dame, he asked me why Green has been on so many rosters? Even in my semi-coherent state in between draft beers, I couldn't answer it. The guy is good player, even after all of these years and I still rember how well he played (for the most part) last season in the Eastern Conference Finals while filling the void left by an injured Isaiah Thomas. Mike D'Antoni should keep rolling with him even upon James Harden's return, especially considering how bad the Rockets bench is, but at least in the meantime, enjoy him in DFS contests while you can.

Other DraftKings DFS Guards to Consider: Stephen Curry - PG/SG, vs. DEN ($10,5000), Chris Paul - PG/SG, @ CHI ($10,000), Lou Williams - PG/SG, vs ATL ($7,900), Bryn Forbes - PG/SG, @ SAC ($3,900 - if Danny Green is out), Allen Crabbe - SG/SF, vs. TOR ($4,700), Buddy Hield - SG/SF, vs. SAS ($4,600)

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Serge Ibaka - PF/C, @ BKN ($5,700)

The Nets are sporting some of the worst numbers in the league against opposing power forwards this season, allowing 36 points, 21 boards and three blocks per game. After starting off the season a little iffy, Serge Ibaka is slowly reverting back to the Ibaka of old. He averaged nearly 17 points, seven boards and two blocks in the month of December and has the potential to produce against an inefficient Brooklyn defense.

Trey Lyles - SF/PF, @ GSW ($5,700)

Trey Lyles has been doing a good job at the four spot for the Nuggets as of late, averaging 17 points, seven boards and an impresive 55 percent shooting percentage from the field over the last 10 games. Though he comes in off of the bench for relief, he is still seeing numbers comparable to most starters throughout the league.

Kyle Anderson - SF/PG, @ SAC ($5,000)

With Kawhi Leonard now dealing with a partial tear in his shoulder, Kyle Anderson could started seeing some minutes once again, just like he did when Leonard was out for a good chunk of the season while dealing with a hamstring injury. Though he has been playing minutes in the 20's, with Leonard out, he could see that increase significantly. However, if Leonard is able to suit up on Monday, you may want to omit him unless you are short of cash.

Other DrafKings DFS Forwards to Consider: LeBron James - SF/PF, @ MIN ($11,500), Giannis Antetokounmpo - SF/PF, @ IND ($10,900), Anthony Davis - PF/C, vs. DET ($9,700), LaMarcus Aldridge - PF/C, @ SAC ($7,700), Tobias Harris - SF/PF, @ NOP ($6,500), Ersan Ilyasova - SF/PF, @ LAC ($5,900), Domantas Sabonis - PF/C, vs. MIL ($5,300), Joe Harris - SG/SF, vs. TOR ($4,200 - if Caris LeVert is out)

DraftKings DFS Centers

Clint Capela - C, @ CHI ($6,600)

Clint Capela is quietly transforming into one the most routinely efficient big men in the league. He is averaging over a double-double via 14 points and 11 rebounds per game and will be going up against one of the worst defensive units in the league. He will come in handy if you aren't able to afford Boogie or The Joker.

Other DraftKings DFS Centers to Consider: DeMarcus Cousins - PF/C, vs. DET ($10,700), Nikola Jokic - C, @ GSW ($8.100), DeAndre Jordan - C, vs. LAC ($7,800), John Henson - C, @ IND (@5,200), Eric Moreland - PF/C, @ NOP ($3,000 - If Andre Drummond is out)
