DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (4/6/22): Today's Top NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on April 6th, 2022. John Brubaker provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

Happy Wednesday, RotoBallers! I hope this week's NBA DFS slates have treated you well. I'm continuing to work on my NBA model, trying to gather more information to make sure all of you are as armed as possible going into each slate. Even with the small adjustments I've made so far, it seems to be working. I'm trying to implement different factors to separate cash options against GPP options. I'll continue to keep you all updated with the adjustments I make, and with all of that said, let's get to tonight!

Tonight we have a nice slate, with six games on tap. With now both FanDuel and DraftKings having multi-position eligibility players, we'll have to attack slates a bit differently to make our lineups as optimal as possible. That's where I come in! I'll look to find my personal top plays and values for tonight's slate. Things can change during the day as well, so I'll do my best to update as news comes out!

Here are my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on 4/6/22. Keep an eye on RotoBaller’s NBA injury news and also our full NBA injury report today to stay up to date before lineups are locked.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Jalen Brunson - at DET (FD: $5,800, DK: $6,100)

I'll start tonight's slate off with Jalen Brunson. The Mavericks will be without Tim Hardaway and Maxi Kleber tonight, and Jalen Brunson is a 0.86 FanDuel and 0.9 DraftKings points per minute player with those two off the floor. He's been getting consistent minutes, logging at least 30 minutes in six straight games. He gets a quality matchup against the Pistons, who rank bottom five in both defensive efficiency and DvP against shooting guards. There's certainly a blowout factor here, but in that instance, I think Brunson should do more than enough to hit value.

Seth Curry, at NYK (FD: $4,000, DK: $4,700)

Curry hasn't played at all in the last week but should re-enter the starting lineup tonight. The Nets will be without Goran Dragic tonight, a situation in that Curry is a 0.77 FanDuel and 0.73 DraftKings points per minute player. While I'm slightly concerned whether Curry will log 30+ minutes tonight, he's a viable GPP option against the Knicks. Curry logged 20 points and six rebounds back on February 16 on 6-9 three-point shooting.

Ish Smith, at ATL (FD: $4,400, DK: $4,800)

I'll be mentioning a few Wizards for tonight's slate, the first of which being Ish Smith. Kyle Kuzma is unlikely to play tonight, and in this situation, Smith is logging 1.03 FanDuel and 1.02 DraftKings points per minute. Smith has played 28+ minutes in each of the Wizards' last three games and is coming off an impressive performance Tuesday where he logged 11 points, eight rebounds, and 14 assists.

Also consider: Ayo Dosunmu (FD: $3,600, DK: $3,900), Frank Jackson (FD: $3,600, DK: $4,200)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Jayson Tatum, at CHI (FD: $9,400, DK: $10,100)

The first of two Celtics I'll be talking about tonight is Jayson Tatum. The Celtics of course will be without Robert Williams tonight, creating a situation where Tatum averages 1.34 FanDuel and 1.37 DraftKings points per minute. The Celtics are fighting for the one seed with just three games left, and Tatum is still playing solid minutes as the Celtics look to make a deep playoff run. The matchup with Chicago is a tough one, as they rank second in defensive efficiency against small forwards, but Tatum should have no problem hitting value in this one.

Al Horford, at CHI (FD: $6,500, DK: $6,900)

The second Celtic I really like on the slate tonight is Al Horford. Horford is a 1.1 FanDuel and 1.07 DraftKings point per minute player in this situation. He's been consistently hitting value at his price on both sites since Robert Williams has gone down, along with playing 30+ minutes. He now draws an excellent matchup against the Bulls, who rank bottom five in both defensive efficiency and DvP against power forwards.

Corey Kispert, at ATL (FD: $3,700, DK: $4,500)

This is mostly a FanDuel GPP play, but I will give Kispert some exposure in GPPs tonight. He's just a 0.63 FanDuel and 0.65 DraftKings points per minute player in this situation but is essentially guaranteed to play 30+ minutes tonight, making him a considerable option. Fortunately for Kispert, he's in a favorable matchup against the Hawks, who rank bottom six in both defensive efficiency and DvP against small forwards.

Also consider: Obi Toppin (FD: $5,500, DK: $5,600), Royce O'Neale (FD: $3,700, DK: $3,900)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Kristaps Porzingis, at ATL (FD: $8,900, DK: $8,400)

The third and final Wizard on the board tonight is Kristaps Porzingis. While Porzingis hasn't been playing a ton of minutes of late, we can essentially guarantee him to play at least 26 minutes in this one. While his price is hefty to bet on for a guy who essentially has a 25-minute floor, Porzingis is a 1.53 point per minute player on both sites with Kyle Kuzma off the floor. A favorable matchup against the Hawks, who rank below average in defensive efficiency and DvP against centers, I'll look for Porzingis to build on his 25/8/1 performance from Tuesday night.

Isaiah Stewart, at DAL (FD: $5,200, DK: $4,900)

Isaiah Stewart's minutes have been extremely volatile over the last week or so, and who knows what the Pistons plan to do as their season comes to an end. Stewart is a 0.9 FanDuel and 0.91 DraftKings point per minute player in his current situation, so if he can log 28+ minutes, we shouldn't have to worry about him hitting value. However, with a potential blowout on the horizon, I wouldn't rate Stewart as anything other than a GPP value play.

Also consider: Deandre Ayton (FD: $6,200, DK: $6,800), Dwight Powell  (FD: $4,900, DK: $4,700)
