DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (6/27/23): Today's Top MLB DFS Lineups

Mookie Betts - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

The top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on June 27, 2023. Dawn Tepper's MLB DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

We are under two weeks away from the All-Star break, RotoBallers. The year is flying by, and watching the new rules play out has made for a fun first season. As of the end of April, 0.68 bases have been stolen per game. If those numbers persist, they will be the highest since 1999!

I will cover the fifteen-game slate starting at 7:05 pm in this article. We have a Coors game featuring Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers and some great pitchers versus powerful bats. We also have matchups in hitter-friendly Baltimore (again, with the weather tonight in Baltimore, keep an eye out) and Angels Stadium, so not just the Rockies with high-scoring potential tonight.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 6/27/2023 and the slate locking at 7:05 pm ET. The lineup picks will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is also essential. Now that we got all that out of the way, it's onto the picks! DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Clayton Kershaw, LAD @ COL ($9,700 DK, $10,600 FD)

Kershaw's K rate this season is 28.5%, and the Rockies' K rate is 29.6%. Kershaw's 45.9% ground ball percentage is just above average this season, and while he hasn't played in Colorado this year, for the last three seasons at Coors Field, he has a 3.85 xFIP (he has a 3.2 xFIP for the season). We will have ownership numbers later, but I expect folks to hesitate to start Kershaw in Colorado tonight, making him a possible tournament play.

David Peterson, NYM vs. MIL ($6,600 DK, $7,300 FD)

While Mets Twitter might disagree (ok, they disagree), Peterson is my favorite value pitcher versus the Brew Crew tonight. On the road versus left-handed pitchers, the Brewers are slashing .206/.287/.299 with a .586 OPS. They have a .093 ISO, 63 wRC+, and a 28% K rate. Peterson has an 8.08 ERA but a 3.42 xFIP. Given the chatter on social media and the disparity between his ERA and xFIP for the season, he is a great tournament option for tonight.

Also, consider: Bryan Woo, Paul Blackburn, and Ranger Suarez

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Matt Thaiss - C, LAA vs. Michael Kopech ($3,700 DK, $2,500 FD)

Matt Thaiss and the Angels are facing right-handed pitchers all week, and I expect Thaiss to be an overlooked member of the Halos tonight versus Michael Kopech. Versus left-handed batters on the road, Kopech has a 1.8 ERA but a 4.85 xFIP. Angels' lefties have a 123 wRC+ at home versus right-handed pitchers, the league's highest.

Manny Machado - 3B, SD vs. Rich Hill ($5,900 DK, $3,300 FD)

In 73 plate appearances against left-handed pitchers this season, Machado is slashing .368/.411/.559 with three homers and 14 RBI. In 43 innings pitched as a Pirate at home, Rich Hill has a 4.81 ERA and a 4.79 xFIP versus right-handed hitters. San Diego's run total for tonight is projected to be over five and is another stacking favorite for tonight.

Freddie Freeman - 3B, LAD vs. Connor Seabold ($6,400 DK, $4,600 FD)

Here we are again, showcasing Freddie Freeman. How can we not? Freeman's .319 batting average is the highest among the Dodgers against right-handed pitchers. As mentioned in my Dodgers' stack description below, the game total is almost 12 runs, and the Dodgers' total as a team is nearly eight. Unless you are in a large, multi-entry tournament, do NOT fade Freeman tonight.

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Mickey Moniak - OF, LAA vs. Michael Kopech ($4,200 DK, $2,700 FD)

Moniak, another left-handed Angel bat to target, has a .364 batting average versus righties this season. As mentioned above, Kopech has a 1.8 ERA versus left-handed batters on the road but a 4.85 xFIP. Angels' lefties have a 123 wRC+ at home, the league's highest versus right-handed pitchers.

Anthony Santander - OF, BAL vs. Andrew Abbott ($4,200 DK, $3,200 FD)

The O's and hitter-friendly Camden Yards will be a stacking target tonight versus Andrew Abbott. In 43 plate appearances at home versus left-handed pitchers, Santander is slashing .324/.442/.559 with a 1.001 OPS. For the season, the Orioles have five batters with an over .940 OPS and four with an over 1.0 OPS. The O's are one of my favorite stacks tonight, chalky or not. The weather could also affect ownership, so keep an eye on possible storms around Baltimore tonight.

Adolis Garcia - OF, TEX vs. Matt Manning ($5,300 DK, $3,900 FD)

The Rangers are hosting the Tigers tonight versus rightie Matt Manning. Against right-handed pitchers at home this season, Adolis Garcia has the best batting average by a Texas outfielder, with an average of .305, 10 HRs, and 29 RBI. For the season against righties, Texas is slashing .280/.351/.503 and has a 136 wRC+, the highest in the league.

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

1. Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Connor Seabold

The Dodgers are playing at Coors Field tonight versus right-handed pitcher Connor Seabold. The Dodgers have lefties AND righties who can do real damage in Colorado: Will Smith, Freddie Freeman, and Mookie Betts, among others. The game total is almost 12 runs, and the Dodgers' total as a team is almost eight. This matchup will be chalky, but I won't be fading Los Angeles as a team, maybe a player or two (Freeman? In tournaments only!).

Favorite Plays: Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts, Jason Heyward, David Dahl

2. Texas Rangers vs. Mike Manning

3. Baltimore Orioles vs. Andrew Abbott
