It's all-day baseball time! No more of this split-slate nonsense. Mother Nature gave us a matinee today with the rainout in the Bronx last night, so the Yankees and Guardians will give the NL some added company on our Friday.
Atlanta gets going in Philly in the afternoon and the Padres host the Dodgers out west for the nightcap. Both NL series are tied at one game each, so none of the games are elimination games.
As always, this article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel. Friday's main slate locks at 1:07 pm EST on 10/7/2022. The lineup picks will range from some elite high-priced players to mid-priced options and value plays. I'll give you a few of my top pitching options and then some infielders, outfielders, and teams to stack! You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. It's also essential to monitor injury news and today's MLB starting lineups. Now that we got all of that out of the way, it's onto the picks!

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Aaron Nola vs. ATL ($9,100 DK, $10,800 FD)
Nola faced the Braves five times this year, including in back-to-back starts near the end of the regular season. He struggled a bit in Atlanta but blanked the Bravos for six innings in Philly. Nola didn't have a bad outing against the Braves this year and racked up 41 strikeouts in 34.1 innings against Atlanta. Nola should eat some good innings here and give us a solid score to build on, but I wouldn't expect a dominant outing.
Nestor Cortes vs. CLE ($8,200 DK, $9,700 FD)
Nestor isn't anything flashy. His stuff looks very hittable, but you see him continually blow through lineups. He's deceptive and he just knows how to pitch. When we last saw Nestor, he struck out 12 Orioles back on October 1. The long layoff makes me a bit nervous, but Cortes just doesn't get blown up. He only allowed more than three runs three times this year, all within a month in June and July...and he never allowed more than four. He has a great floor and some strikeout potential.
Cortes looked good against Cleveland this year, allowing three runs in 12.1 innings with 14 strikeouts. All of those runs game via homers, so a Cleveland one-off or two isn't the worst idea even if you use Cortes.
Also consider: Shane Bieber, Aaron Nola

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Matt Olson - 1B, ATL at Aaron Nola ($4,400 DK, $3,900 FD)
Olson has terrorized the Phillies over the first two games of this series going 3-for-6 with three walks, a homer, and four RBI. He only has three hits in 15 tries in his career against Nola, but all of them have gone for extra bases. I would only use Olson on DK and if you're not using Nola. He's not much of a bargain on FD, but considering his hot streak, this could be the day he gets something off Nola.
Jean Segura - 2B, PHI vs. Charlie Morton ($3,400 DK, $2,700 FD)
Segura is a place to save some cash and not really have to take a hit to do so. He has four hits in four playoff games in 2022 so far, including three against these Braves. He is also 17-for-62 (.274) lifetime with a homer off of Morton. That's a large enough sample size to believe in and I really need the savings, especially on FanDuel.
Ha-Seong Kim - SS, SD vs. Tony Gonsolin ($3,400 DK, $2,900 FD)
On small slates, I like to punt with cheap guys that get on base. Kim checks both boxes. He has nine hits and six walks in nine October games. He's not going to get me a home run, but that's okay. I have other pieces in my lineup with that purpose. Kim is there to get me a couple of crooked numbers by getting on base.
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Bryce Harper - OF, PHI vs. Charlie Morton ($6,000 DK, $4,200 FD)
Schwarber has also hit Morton well, but I prefer the solid floor of Harper over the all-or-nothing with Schwarber. Of course, I love the idea of running them both. Harper has four hits in the first two games of this series and is a career .417 hitter with a homer off of Morton. Schwarber has taken Morton deep twice, both this year, but only has a .267 career mark against him.
Ronald Acuna Jr. - OF, ATL at Aaron Nola ($5,800 DK, $4,000 FD)
Some guys just hit others well. This is one of those situations. Acuna is 13-for-36 lifetime against Nola with four homers, nine RBI, four doubles, and seven walks. That's the best BvP stats you'll find today. Considering Acuna already has four hits in this series, he's my favorite play on the entire slate if his elbow is okay.
Chris Taylor - 2B/OF, LAD at Blake Snell ($2,600 DK, $2,600 FD)
Hey, no one ever said cutting corners was pretty. Taylor is ready to make his 2022 playoff debut tonight and this is a good spot for it. The expensive righties haven't been the Dodgers that have wreaked havoc on Snell. It has been guys like Taylor and Austin Barnes. Taylor is 5-for-19 against Snellzilla with a double, two homers, and four RBI off of him. With all of the money I spent on the top two outfielders, this is a great way to get some salary relief.
DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks
Here is my top stacks for tonight:
Philadelphia Phillies - Charlie Morton has a 5.47 ERA against the Phillies this year, which is by far the worst of any pitcher on the slate against today's opponent. I highlighted a couple of my favorites above, but I also like Schwarber and a very cheap Brandon Marsh. He will likely get pinch-hit for later in the game, but at least he's not mired in a horrible slump like Bohm or Rhys Hoskins.
Honorable mention: Los Angeles Dodgers
