It's Game # of the Eastern Conference Finals. Milwaukee jumped ahead to a 2-1 series lead on Sunday and now looks to extend their series lead tonight in a game that's arguably a must-win for Atlanta if they want to hang around in this series.
This article will supply you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for the DraftKings Showdown on 6/29/21. You can also check out today’s FanDuel lineup picks. It’s also important to monitor injury news as a result of COVID-19 as the slate can completely change before line-up lock. Without further ado, let’s dive into the picks!
DraftKings DFS Captains
Khris Middleton - CPT ($15,000)
The Bucks finally got their "Middleton game" on Sunday night, with Khris shooting 15-26 and scoring 38 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 assists. I expect him to turn it up, even more, tonight and maybe not get a repeat performance, but settle in and have a 30/5/5 night against a Hawks team that has struggled to defend the wing position all playoffs. You have to love that they are going to him down the stretch in these games and he's thriving in that role of clutch fourth-quarter scorer which takes so much pressure off Giannis.
Bonus Captains: Giannis Antetokoumpo ($18,000), Pat Connaughton ($4,800)

DraftKings DFS UTIL
Pat Connaughton - UTIL, ($3,200)
We'll begin in the value bin with Pat Connaughton tonight. Connaughton hasn't had much of a "breakout game" yet in this series, however, he's been a staple in this Bucks rotation this series, and I expect him to play 30+ minutes this evening. He's a shooting wing, much like Seth Curry for Philadelphia, and I think if he gets going early he could turn in a 15+ point game in Atlanta tonight.
Clint Capela - UTIL ($8,000)
The Bucks are a solid defensive team. One spot they tend to struggle against though is the center position. Capela has averaged nearly 13 rebounds this series but hasn't done a ton in the scoring column yet, averaging just over 7 points per game. I expect Mike Budenholtzer to assign Giannis on John Collins, which should open Atlanta's pick and roll game to Capela, and he could be in for a large game four tonight.
Bonus UTIL: Trae Young ($10,800), Giannis Antetokoumpo ($12,000), Danilo Gallinari ($5,800)
