DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (5/10/21): NBA DFS Lineups

The NBA schedule has six games on the main slate for Monday night. You'll have a solid number of players to choose from and matchups to target. One matchup you should be particularly keen on is the Indiana Pacers and Cleveland Cavaliers. Here are three tips on how to attack the overall slate when assembling lineups.

First of all, it’s important to look at the pace and Vegas lines. Second, it’s also useful to understand the number of fantasy points a team gives up to a specific position. The final tip is to identify value plays that are critical on a slate of any size. You don’t have to necessarily go for the cheapest value, but you want to identify players who have a high floor and a high ceiling.

This article will supply you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for the DraftKings on 5/10/21. You can also check out today’s FanDuel lineup picks. It’s also important to monitor injury news as a result of COVID-19 as the slate can completely change before line-up lock. Without further ado, let’s dive into the picks!

DraftKings DFS Guards

Russell Westbrook - PG, WAS vs ATL ($11,000)

Westbrook scored 33 points, stockpiled 19 rebounds, 15 assists, two blocks, and a steal in 44 minutes last Saturday against the Pacers. He tied Oscar Robertson's (181) career triple-double record. Westbrook has been a statistical dynamo. Were you aware that he had a triple-double in 19 of his last 24 games? Westbrook has a Usage Rate of 30.5% this season. This metric is an estimate of the percentage of team plays used by a player while he was on the floor. Westbrook should continue his dominance against the Hawks especially with Bradley Beal dealing with a hamstring injury.

Collin Sexton - PG/SG, CLE vs IND ($8,300)

Sexton scored 24 points, accumulated seven assists and three rebounds last night against the Mavericks. He's on pace to set career highs this season in scoring, rebounding, assists, and steals. Sexton faces a Pacers team that has allowed the ninth most DraftKings fantasy points per game to point guards.

Eric Bledsoe - PG/SG, NO vs MEM ($5,900)

Bledsoe scored 24 points, collected four rebounds, 11 assists, and two steals in 33 minutes. He's scored 10 or more points in four consecutive games and has the ability to contribute in other statistical areas. Bledsoe should continue to see high usage with Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson dealing with injuries. He's a nice value on tonight's slate.

Bonus Guards: Lonzo Ball ($8,000), C.J. McCollum ($7,800), Nickeil Alexander-Walker ($6,500), Naji Marshall ($5,000)

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Domantas Sabonis - PF/C, IND vs CLE ($10,600)

Sabonis recorded 30 points, amassed 13 rebounds, 13 assists, and three steals in 43 minutes against the Wizards last Saturday. Since returning from injury he's scored 74 or more DraftKings fantasy points in three out of five games. Sabonis faces a Cavaliers team that has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to power forwards this season.

Draymond Green - PF/C, GS vs UTA ($7,600)

Green scored 15 points, accumulated 13 assists, five rebounds, and two steals in 30 minutes against the Thunder last Saturday. He's averaged 41.6 DraftKings fantasy points per game over his last six. Green doesn't score many points, but his rebound and assists totals make him fantasy relevant. He has one of the higher ceilings at the forward position on tonight's slate.

Kevin Love - PF/C, CLE vs IND ($6,000)

Love scored eight points, collected 11 rebounds, three assists, and a steal in 27 minutes against the Mavericks last night. He's averaged 29 minutes, 10.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 0.8 steals per game over his last six. Love faces a Pacers team that has allowed the fourth-most DraftKings fantasy points to power forwards this season.

Bonus Forwards: DeMar DeRozan ($7,900), Bojan Bogdanovic ($6,600), John Collins ($6,400), James Johnson ($4,600)

DraftKings DFS Centers

Jusuf Nurkic - C, POR vs HOU ($7,300)

Nurkic scored 10 points, accumulated 13 rebounds, five assists, and one steal in 31 minutes against the Lakers last Friday. His ability to contribute across numerous categories makes him a great DFS option. Nurkic has scored 37 or more DraftKings fantasy points in five out of his last six games. He faces a Rockets team that has allowed the third-most fantasy points to centers this season.

Jarrett Allen - C, CLE vs IND ($6,800)

Allen only scored five points, garnered five rebounds, and one assist in 26 minutes against the Mavericks last night. Over the previous six games he's averaged 32.7 minutes, 11.2 points, 12 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 0.8 steals, and one block per game. The Pacers have allowed the most DraftKings fantasy points per game to centers this season.

Bonus Centers: Jonas Valanciunas ($8,200), Enes Kanter ($4,400)
