DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (4/25/21): NBA DFS Lineups

Stephen Curry - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on April 25th, 2021. Eric Moody provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

The NBA schedule has four games on the main slate for Sunday night. You won't have a ton of players to choose from or matchups to target. One matchup you should be particularly keen on is the Milwaukee Bucks versus the Atlanta Hawks. Here are three tips on how to attack the overall slate when assembling lineups.

First of all, it’s important to look at the pace and Vegas lines. Second, it’s also useful to understand the number of fantasy points a team gives up to a specific position. The final tip is to identify value plays that are critical on a slate of any size. You don’t have to necessarily go for the cheapest value, but you want to identify players who have a high floor and a high ceiling.

This article will supply you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for the DraftKings on 4/25/21. You can also check out today’s FanDuel lineup picks. It’s also important to monitor injury news as a result of COVID-19 as the slate can completely change before line-up lock. Without further ado, let’s dive into the picks!

DraftKings DFS Guards

Stephen Curry - PG, GS vs SAC ($10,500)

Curry scored 32 points, accumulated eight rebounds and three assists in 34 minutes against the Nuggets last Friday. Did you know that he has scored 30 or more points in 12 out of the last 13 games? Curry has the fourth-highest Usage Rate (33.8%) among all players. This metric is an estimate of the percentage of team plays used by a player while he was on the floor. Curry also has the fourth-highest Player Efficiency Rating. This metric sums up all a player's positive accomplishments, subtracts the negative accomplishments and returns a per-minute rating of a player's performance. Curry has one of the highest ceilings of any player on the main slate.

Jrue Holiday - PG/SG, MIL vs ATL ($8,200)

Holiday scored 12 points, stockpiled 11 assists, four rebounds, one steal, and one block in 34 minutes against the Sixers last Thursday. Were you aware that this was his fourth double-double of the season? Holiday ranks ninth among point guards with a Player Efficiency Rating of 23.7. He's scored 37 or more DraftKings fantasy points in four consecutive games.

Cole Anthony - PG, ORL vs IND ($6,700)

Anthony registered 14 points, collected three assists, one rebound, and one steal in 25 minutes last Thursday against the Pelicans. He's averaged 13.5 points, 5.6 assists, and 4.5 assists per game over the last nine. Anthony faces a Pacers defense that has allowed the 12th most DraftKings fantasy points per game to point guards this season.

Bonus Guards: Bradley Beal ($9,800), Bogdan Bogdanovic ($8,100), Darius Garland ($7,200), Kevin Huerter ($6,400)

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Giannis Antetokounmpo - PF/C, MIL vs ATL ($10,700)

Antetokounmpo scored 27 points, hoarded 16 rebounds, six assists, two steals, and a blocked shot in 35 minutes against the 76ers last Thursday. This was his 34th double-double of the season. Antetokounmpo ranks first among power forwards in Usage Rate (33%) and Player Efficiency Rating (34.6). Antetokounmpo faces a Hawks defense that has allowed the eighth-most DraftKings fantasy points to power forwards this season.

Draymond Green - PF/C, GS vs SAC ($7,500)

Green scored two points, garnered 19 assists, and two rebounds in 33 minutes against the Nuggets last Friday. He's averaged 11.2 assists and 7.8 rebounds per game since April 14. Green faces a Kings defense that has allowed the fourth-most DraftKings fantasy points per game this season to power forwards. He'll continue to accumulate rebounds and create assists by feeding Curry.

Kevin Love - PF/C, CLE vs WAS ($6,600)

Love scored 15 points, amassed nine rebounds and four assists against the Bulls in 26 minutes last Friday. He's averaged 14.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.4 steals, and 0.1 blocks per game over his last eight games. Love is a nice value on the main slate.

Bonus Forwards: John Collins ($7,400), Kelly Oubre Jr. ($6,500), Danilo Gallinari ($5,900)

DraftKings DFS Centers

Hassan Whiteside - C, SAC vs GS ($5,400)

Whiteside scored four points and two rebounds in 13 minutes against the Timberwolves last Wednesday. He can be very productive if provided enough minutes. Whiteside has played 19 or more minutes in Sacramento's previous four games. He's averaged 28 DraftKings fantasy points per game over that time frame. Whiteside has been productive with Richaun Holmes out with a hamstring injury. Holmes is expected to return on Sunday and could see limited minutes against the Warriors.

Mo Bamba - C,  ORL vs IND ($5,500)

Bamba scored 17 points, accrued 12 rebounds and two blocks in 27 minutes last Thursday against the Pelicans. He thrived with center Wendell Carter out due to an ankle injury. Carter is questionable for Sunday's game against the Pacers. His availability is something to monitor prior to tip-off.

Bonus Centers: Jarrett Allen ($7,100), Chuma Okeke ($5,300), Brook Lopez ($5,100)
