DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (3/30/21): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on March 30, 2021. Euan Leith provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

Happy Tuesday, RotoBallers! After a massive 11-game slate on Monday, the NBA leaves us with a smaller four-game schedule tonight. Team rotations are still falling into place after an active trade deadline last week, and there are ample opportunities. With only eight teams, it'll be a tighter-than-usual squeeze, but that's what makes NBA DFS so great on a night-in and night-out basis.

Everyone and their grandparents will be on the Charlotte-Washington game tonight. It has an over/under set at 233.5 points, and it's the only game where both teams average at least 101 possessions per game. However, their offensive ratings over the last 10 games aren't superb, and that's where more innovative players should pivot to the Philadelphia-Denver contest. There are some exciting pieces outside Nikola Jokic to target in that game, and we will get to them right here.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/30/21. You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks. With COVID-19 a significant factor, remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before lineups lock.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Terry Rozier - PG/SG, CHA at WAS ($7,700)

Scarry Terry is in the midst of a terrific stretch and gets to face one of the weaker backcourt defenses in the league. Over their last seven games, the Wizards allow the eighth-most DraftKings fantasy points to point guards. They also play at the fastest pace in the league. Their style of play results in some high-scoring contests like their 132-124 win over the Indiana Pacers last night.

But back to Rozier, the sixth-year guard is locked in right now. He's made at least three triples in four-straight contests and contributes outside of the points category. In their overtime loss to the Suns, Rozier recorded 22 points, 10 rebounds, one assist, and one steal. Before that, the 27-year old produced 26 points, 11 assists, five rebounds, and a block. Those extra counting stats will add up on any given night and allow Rozier to be a positive asset to your DFS lineup.

Terrence Ross - SG/SF, ORL at LAC ($7,100)

Make sure to check back on Ross's status closer to tip-off because he is questionable with a knee injury going into Tuesday's contest. He's missed the last seven games but has been questionable for a couple of games now and should return against the Clippers. The opportunity awaiting him upon his return is marvelous. Aaron Gordon, Evan Fournier, and Nikola Vucevic left at the deadline, and it leaves Ross as the elder statesman (and bucket-getter) in the Magic's locker room.

Gordon, Fournier, and Vucevic off the floor vacate 46.5 field goal attempts per game for the Magic. Ross may take 20 shots per game for the rest of the season, and that will lead to a plethora of fantasy points. Terrence Ross managers in DFS will be thanking the Magic's front office for those trades down the stretch just like I am thanking my daily word calendar for plethora.

Bonus guards: Seth Curry ($4,900), Terance Mann ($4,700)

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Tobias Harris - SF/PF, PHI at DEN ($8,500)

We just touched on Terrence Ross getting a considerable boost in Orlando, and now we move our sights to a similar situation in Philadelphia. Tobias Harris overtook Ben Simmons this season as the secondary scorer for the 76ers. With Joel Embiid (knee) watching from the sidelines, Harris is the primary offensive weapon for Doc Rivers and Philadelphia.

Since Embiid hit the injury report, Harris is averaging 24.1 points, eight rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.4 triples. Those would all be career-highs over an entire season.  Harris' opponent, the Nuggets, are the 11th-worst defense versus forwards over their last seven games. With the volume and matchup, Harris is a perfect candidate for the shortened schedule.

Deni Avdija - SF/PF, WAS vs. CHA ($3,700)

Another piece of the high-flying Hornets and Wizards game is on top, but this time it's a punt play/salary relief player. Deni Avdija returned at least five-times value in three of his last four games. He's taking advantage of some increased playing time, and he should be able to reach the 20-point mark on Tuesday.

Against the Pacers, the man from Israel recorded 12 points, eight rebounds, one assist, and two triples in 32 minutes. The Wizards need forwards at the moment, and they should allow their 2020 first-round pick to show them what he can do. This game has the highest over/under among the four games tonight, and it makes me want a piece of Avdija and this game even more.

Bonus Forwards: Kawhi Leonard ($8,800), John Collins ($7,000),

DraftKings DFS Centers

Ivica Zubac - C, LAC vs. ORL ($5,900)

The injury bug is biting the Clippers at a critical time in the season, and Zubac is doing his best to step up and help his team. He'll have another fantastic opportunity tonight against a Magic defense that's sixth-worst in the league against centers. Now, they are without All-Star Nikola Vucevic to man the paint, and it should allow Zubac the chance at a bigger-than-usual evening.

The man from Bosnia and Herzegovina has topped 30 fantasy points in five of his last eight games. Over that eight-game stretch, he's producing 11 points, 9.1 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, 0.9 steals while shooting 60.3 percent from the field. It's not as exciting as slotting Nikola Jokic into your lineup, but Zubac can provide some salary relief to spend up at other positions. Tuesday's slate features four of the league's five best defenses versus centers, so getting a discount in a plus matchup is an excellent option for your DFS lineups.

Bonus Centers: Nikola Jokic ($10,500), Rui Hachimura ($6,000)
