DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (3/26/21): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on March 26, 2021. Mike Marteny provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

We are still at a lull in the NCAA tournament and the EuroLeague tilt is over, so let's get going on the NBA action for tonight. We have 11 games and a whole lot of players in limbo as most if not all of the ones traded wont be available for their new teams. That leaves a whole bunch of value that isn't normally there. These are often the most chaotic slates of the season right after the deadline. Combine this size with the higher than normal randomness of the player pool, and we've got an interesting one on tap.

There are different values in different places on FanDuel and DraftKings tonight, as is the usual. I will try and identify as many different plays as I can since I did the FanDuel article for tonight as well. Reading both of them together will help you get a better grasp of just how large the player pool is that I'm looking at. There will be some duplicate because, well, some players are underpriced on both sites. Let's go on to the DraftKings side of the universe!

This article will supply you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for the DraftKings on 3/26/21. You can also check out today’s FanDuel lineup picks. It’s also important to monitor injury news as a result of COVID-19 as the slate can completely change before line-up lock. Without further ado, let’s dive into the picks!

DraftKings DFS Guards

John Wall - PG, at Minnesota ($8,300)

The Rockets finally ended their 20-game losing streak and Wall was a big part of the reason why. There are elite matchups for the Rockets across the board tonight, but with Oladipo on his way to Miami, Wall is going to be carrying more of the load than usual. Sterling Brown is a nice option on the cheap, but Wall is still going to dominate the ball and the scoring in this one. The Rockets have no reason to wear him out, but they have still shown that they are willing to run Wall for 30 minutes. He can do a lot of damage against a team like Minnesota in that span.

Jordan Poole - PG/SG, vs. Atlanta ($6,500)

Poole will be starting again and he gets Trae Young defense. That's a good thing. As talented as Young is, he is much like Stephen Curry in that his diminutive stature makes him a defensive liability against some of the bigger point guards in the league. Poole is one of those. He has five inches and around 20 pounds on Young. The really intriguing part to me though is the fact that Poole still has 54.75 DraftKings points over the last two games while going cold from the field. In his first two games filling in for Curry, he shot well. Poole is only 10-29 from the floor in the last two contests. If his shot starts falling again, he could be in for a big night.

Malik Monk - SG, vs. Miami ($5,000)

The injury to LaMelo Ball has opened up a lot of minutes and Monk has taken a sizeable chunk of them. He has 51.5 DraftKings points in 51 minutes in two games without Ball. Solid numbers, sure, but not slate-breakers. For that I direct you to Miami's game last night with Portland. The Heat were scorched on the perimeter last night by CJ McCollum. Monk isn't quite the volume shooter that CJ is, but he'll take plenty of shots. The Heat are still shorthanded. If Dragic is back,I'll find something else, but if the Heat have the same personnel as last night, Monk looks cheap.

Bonus Guards: James Harden ($10,800), Jamal Murray ($8,200), Kendrick Nunn ($4,900), Frank Jackson ($4,100)

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Brandon Ingram - SF/PF, vs. Denver ($8,200)

Considering Lonzo Ball wasn't able to finish practice yesterday because of his hip, I would find it very unlikely that he plays. Ingram has taken on a much larger role with Ball sidelined. Zion hasn't absorbed much of anything. Ingram has 101.75 DraftKings points over the last two games with Ball out. One of those games was against this same Denver team that, oh, by the way, got blown off the court in Tampa last night by a team that just lost to the Rockets ending their 20-game losing streak. Ingram should be in for another big game at a low price here.

Larry Nance Jr. - SF/PF, at Lakers ($6,500)

Nance shook off a poor game in a smash spot against the Kings on Monday with 47.5 DraftKings points against the Bulls on Wednesday. The Lakers are missing every presence in the middle with the exception of Harrell, so this is a great spot for Nance. Just look at what Ingram and Zion Williamson did to the Lakers on Tuesday night. The minutes are there for Nance with Love out. He could be in for another big game here at a very reasonable price.

Chuma Okeke - PF/C, vs. Portland ($5,300)

Wow, what to the Magic have left? Wendell Carter and Otto Porter aren't expected to be in uniform tonight, so that leaves Okeke, Khem Birch, and Mo Bamba to handle all of the minutes up front. Okeke has been a nice points-per-minute guy for much of his rookie season, but tonight will be his chance to really shine. Bam terrorized Portland last night. Okeke isn't as good as Bam, but he is still good enough to give the Portland front some problems. Okeke will be in every build for me tonight despite the slightly elevated price.

Bonus Forwards: Zion Williamson ($8,700), Kyle Kuzma ($7,600), Kelly Oubre ($6,300), Bogdan Bogdanovic ($4,600)

DraftKings DFS Centers

Nikola Jokic - C, at New Orleans ($10,600)

Jokic has had some of the biggest games of his career against Steven Adams, including a 64 DraftKings points explosion last weekend. That was not even in the top five of highest-scoring DraftKings points games that Jokic has put up against Adams. It was sixth. Jokic has cleared 70 DraftKings points on Adams three times in his career, the most recent coming in December of 2019. Shake off Denver's poor showing against the Raptors last night. Denver will. Jokic could break the slate tonight.

Mason Plumlee - C, vs. Brooklyn ($6,300)

Centers against Brooklyn. It's as sure a thing as death and taxes. And if you want to pay more taxes while you're still alive, Lock in Plumlee and let him help you go for a takedown tonight. Blake Griffin isn't much of a deterrent and neither is DeAndre Jordan. Alize Johnson put up a big offensive game against Utah, but Gobert still went nuts. There's a good chance that Plumlee does too.

Mo Bamba - C, vs. Portland ($4,800)

This was a preemptive strike by DraftKings, jacking up the price on Bamba with really no reason to other than the fact that the Magic have a skeleton crew in the frontcourt. Mo is a big risk because Orlando has never given him much run, even in games when Nikola Vucevic was sidelined. I expect Khem Birch to start and take up space and Orlando to spell him with short bursts of big DraftKings output from Bamba. He'll only play about half the game, but Bamba should clear 6x value in this one.

Bonus Centers: Karl-Anthony Towns ($9,900), Christian Wood ($8,400), Isaiah Stewart ($4,900)
