DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (11/14/16): NBA DFS Advice

Vladimir De Wet highlights the top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 11/14/16. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your DraftKings NBA DFS lineups.

It is a new week and with it comes a chance to make up some losses, keep on winning, or just try something new. The daily fantasy basketball slate is full with eight matchups that include the three biggest names in fantasy basketball right now: Russell Westbrook, James Harden, and Anthony Davis. Take one of these guys and build your team around them using some of the better cheap options below. (Or don’t, no pressure).

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/14/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @vladewet.

Editor's Note: New users that sign up on FantasyAces, make a $20 deposit, and enter any game will receive our full season NBA (or NFL) Premium Pass for free (includes DFS Cheat Sheets). DraftKings DFS Guards

Sean Kilpatrick – SG, @LAC ($5,500)

The Nets will not have Jeremy Lin and Isaiah Whitehead for the third straight game on Monday night. As a result Kilpatrick has been shoved into starting point guard duty and has come up with over 30 fantasy points in three of the team’s last five games. Without Lin and Whitehead to Kilpatrick has been forced to shy away from his usual scoring role and be more of a playmaker. His value will take a serious dip when everyone on the team is healthy.

Victor Oladipo – PG/SG, @DET ($5,400)

While Russell Westbrook has been rewriting the NBA record books to start the season his backcourt mate, Victor Oladipo, has been quietly having a very strong start to the season. Oladipo has over 20 fantasy points in all but three games this season as he consistently fills up several statistical categories. Oladipo’s shooting from the outside is the best it’s ever been in his career and until he starts cooling off he should be relied upon to fill up line-ups.

Josh Richardson – SG/SF, @SA ($4,400)

After starting the season with poor play and inconsistency Richardson has found a two-game groove while Goran Dragic is nursing an ankle injury. Richardson’s last two performances for his price have been bargain basement steals. Dragic is going to be out again tonight so the Richardson train should keep moving along smoothly.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Gordon Hayward – SF, MEM ($7, 600)

There are several stars having gigantic statistical starts to the NBA season. The most unheralded and underappreciated one of these stars is Gordon Hayward. His 24 points, seven rebounds, and four assists to start the year are all career highs. Right now Paul George costs $300 more to draft despite the fact there is no argument, from a daily fantasy perspective, that Hayward has been the more explosive player by far.

Harrison Barnes – SF/PF, @NYK ($7,100)

A week ago Barnes was a part of this list because his price was way below his current production at the time. Since then most websites have begun pricing Barnes appropriately. After baring contributing to Golden State’s historic run last year all of the talk this off-season was that Barnes will never be able to live up to his giant contract in Dallas. If he continues his current run of form of averaging around 30 points per night the questions will become is he currently being underpaid at his position? The NBA turns around just that fast so make sure to stick with Barnes and his hot current peak until there is inevitably another valley.

Zach Randolph – PF, @UTA ($5,000)

Zach Randolph playing less minutes has been able to put up similar numbers to his career averages. Right now he’s averaging 14 points and eight rebounds on 48% shooting. He can’t be expected to have that many huge nights because his minutes simply do not leave room for that. Instead his consistency of playing time, cheap price, and consistent production make him one of the better filler options out there.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Kelly Olynyk – PF/C, @NO ($4,800)

In the three games Olynyk has been back after an off-season injury he is averaging 12 points, six rebounds, and three assists. While Al Horford is still hurt and the Celtics lack depth in their front-court you can expect Olynyk to get consistent minutes in the rotation. In his last two games he’s put 34 and 32 fantasy points while costing under $3,500. The slight increase in his price still makes him one of the more productive players for the least amount of money.

Clint Capela – PF/C, PHI ($4,900)

Every night it seems as if James Harden has piled up another 15 assists. One of the biggest benefactors of the assist happy bearded fellow has been and will continue to be Clint Capela. He is averaging 10 points and eight rebounds a game while shooting 61% from the field. Capela has four straight games with at least 12 points and in three of those he’s scored over 25 fantasy points despite never being priced over $5,000. As long as Harden is out there balling then Capela has to be considered an intriguing cheap option big man.
