DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (9/25/18): MLB DFS Lineups

We have a monster 14-game slate to break down today, and there are some great options across the board. There are a few high-priced pitchers on the slate you should be looking to pay up for, along with plenty of bats you want to jam into your lineups.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 9/25/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers

Walker Buehler – P, LAD @ ARI (DK - $11,700)

Is Buehler the best pitcher on the slate? No. That is because Max Scherzer is on the slate, but tonight, Buehler is the pitcher you want. The Dodgers are in a spot where they still need to be winning games, so you want to go with the pitcher in a “must-win” spot. He has nine or more strikeouts in three of his last four starts, while only allowing five total earned runs in that same span. He is up against the Diamondbacks, who are out of the playoffs and come in with a 24.2% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitchers, which is seventh worst in the league.

Trevor Bauer – P, CLE @ CWS (DK - $10,200)

Bauer is going to be making his second start off the DL, so we want to pay attention if he will be on any type of pitch or innings limit, which we don’t know yet. He only pitched 1.1 innings in his game last week, but this is a much softer matchup for him, so hopefully, he gets to go further into the game. He is up against the White Sox, who come in with a 25.4% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitchers, which is second worst.

 

DraftKings DFS Infielders

Tyler Austin – 1B, MIN vs DET (DK - $4,000)

Austin comes in with eight hits and six RBIs in his last 10 games, so a nice little streak to end the season. He has a .308 wOBA vs right-handed pitchers, but a .229 ISO as well. This means he has the power but not the consistency, so more of a GPP option.

Jose Ramirez – 2B, CLE @ CWS (DK - $5,400)

Ramirez had the day off yesterday, so hopefully, he returns to the lineup tonight. He is always a threat for a jack and a bag, or a home run and a stolen base, giving him plenty of tournament upside. He comes in with a .414 wOBA and a .320 ISO vs right-handed pitchers this season.

David Freese – 3B, LAD @ ARI (DK - $4,200)

Freese has been a bit inconsistent as of late but is now facing off against Matt Koch, who is giving up a .405 wOBA and 2.36 HR/9 to righties this season. The Dodgers could be a chalkier stack tonight since they come in with an implied run total sitting at 4.7.

Tzu-Wei Lin – SS, BOS vs BAL (DK - $3,700)

Lin has been seeing some playing time as of late, as the Red Sox have clinched their playoff spot and are now resting some players. As of now, the Orioles haven’t named a starter for this game, so it’s tough to determine what splits he has, but he is cheap and at home in a hitter’s park.

 

DraftKings DFS Outfielders

Jose Bautista - OF, PHI @ COL (DK - $4,600)

Bautista's price is elevated tonight because he is at Coors Field, but that should stop you from playing him. He is facing off against Chad Bettis, who is giving up a .363 wOBA vs right-handed hitters this season, along with 1.42 HR/9. Bautista has a .170 ISO vs RHP, so he should have some good power to get it done in the best hitter's park in the league.

Kole Calhoun - OF, LAA vs TEX (DK - $3,400)

Love the savings that Calhoun brings to your lineup tonight, especially when you want to be paying up for pitching. He comes in with .196 ISO vs right-handed pitchers this season, which lines up nicely versus Yovani Gallardo, who is giving up 1.27 HR/9 to lefties this season.
