DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers

Clayton Kershaw - P, at STL ($11,900)

There aren't a ton of viable options at starting pitcher tonight, so I have no problems with paying up for Kershaw. He's well worth the price, with a 2.42 ERA and a 2.97 Deserved Run Average this season. Kershaw is still one of the best pitchers in the game, limiting baserunners with a minuscule 3.9% walk-rate.

Eduardo Rodriguez - P, vs TOR ($9,100)

Kershaw and Rodriguez are chalk tonight, meaning that they are easily the best two pitchers on the slate and should both be highly owned. In many cases, I would try to avoid going full chalk with my starting pitchers, but there really aren't any other options I'm comfortable with. Tonight's best strategy may be to spend up on your two starters and win with a more "discount" lineup. As for Rodriguez, he's got a healthy 26.1% K-rate with a 3.60 FIP and has the potential for a big night.

DraftKings DFS Infielders

Matt Olson - 1B, at BAL ($4,500)

Unless you're trying to spend over $5,000, it will be tough to find a hitter with better odds at a home run than Olson. He's in one of the best hitter's parks in Baltimore against Dylan Bundy, who has an absurd 2.22 HR/9.

Robinson Cano - 2B, at LAA ($4,300)

Cano has been crushing the ball over the last 15 days, batting .298 with a .921 OPS and three homers. He's in a great spot for both runs and RBIs batting third for the Mariners with an easy matchup versus Odrisamer Despaigne, owner of a 6.40 ERA.

Eduardo Nunez - 3B/2B, vs TOR ($3,700)

The Red Sox should have a big night at home in a hitter-friendly park against Sam Gaviglio, who has an awful 5.25 ERA. Nunez is one of few Boston hitters you can snag for cheap, and you may be able to pair him with some of his more expensive teammates for a stack.

Jorge Polanco - SS, at KC ($4,000)

There are so many starting pitchers you can target hitters against tonight, and Heath Fillmyer of the Royals is another. Fillmyer has an extremely low 14.1% K-rate with a 4.75 ERA. Polanco is in a nice position batting second against him.

DraftKings DFS Outfielders

Matt Kemp - OF, at STL ($3,900)

Kemp is still worth playing when he's facing a lefty, as he'll be batting fourth for the Dodgers. Good luck trying to find many other cleanup hitters who are cheaper than $4,000.

Kole Calhoun - OF, vs SEA ($3,700)

While Calhoun has been very cold lately, I like him as a buy-low against Mike Leake. Leake has a 4.11 ERA and Calhoun will be leading off against him, which will maximize his chances to produce.
