DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (7/25/16): MLB DFS Advice

Welcome back Rotoballers to another fun-filled week on DraftKings.  In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for DraftKings on 7/25/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on DraftKings. It's not a full slate with only 11 games kicking off at 7:05 ET.

As for Vegas insights, the only heavy moneyline favorites tonight are the Blue Jays (-255), Cubs (-200), and Orioles (-155).  The contests with the highest over/unders are the Athletics-Rangers (10.5) and Tigers-Red Sox (10).

Editor's Note: RotoBaller offers the best Premium MLB Subscription - only $1.99 per week. All the tools you need to help win your seasonal and daily leagues: Hitter & Pitcher Streamers, Matchup Ratings for every player, Under-the-Radar Surgers for AVG, HR, Ks, plus daily DFS Cheat Sheets, Lineup Picks, Expert Lineups, Stacks and Avoids.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

Phillies versus Jarred Cosart

Sometimes when people zig you need to zag, and that is the case here. Hardly anyone is going to consider the Phillies a viable stack for tonight's slate, given their bottom-five ranking in offensive categories versus RHP. But Cosart is making his first start since April 22, and he was hardly impressive in the minors (30/25 K/BB in 50 IP). If you fork up for Jake Arrieta or Noah Syndergaard, keep the Phils in mind as you build out your lineup.

Tigers versus Drew Pomeranz

Pomeranz had a shaky debut to DH-life as a pitcher, giving up five runs in three plus innings versus the Giants. Things won't get any easier versus a Tigers lineup that is heating up, notably Miguel Cabrera and Ian Kinsler. Tigers don't come cheap, but owners may be weary of a date with Pomeranz. Don't be.

Also Consider: Diamondbacks versus Chase Anderson

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Aaron Sanchez (SP, TOR) - $10,900

Sanchez has eclipsed 40 points in three of his last four starts and the Padres .670 OPS versus RHP is 29th in baseball. The Blue Jays should coast to a victory today versus Colin Rea, making this an easy win opportunity.

Anthony DeSclafani (SP, CIN) - $9,300

DeScal is more expensive than on FanDuel but I still love the play here. He's won five of his past six starts and has yet to put up a dud. He's providing a safe floor while the Reds seem to enjoy providing him run support. Are you worried about a date with Jake Peavy? Me neither.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

Evan Gattis (C, HOU) - $3,200

El Oso Blanco is on a roll right now, hitting three home runs in his past two games. He's a cheap source of power with a HR to his name versus opponent Michael Pineda.

First Base (1B)

Hanley Ramirez (1B, BOS) - $3,700

Speaking of en fuego, HanRam has consecutive 30 point games and has found his power stroke again. Justin Verlander is a tough draw, but at sub $4,000 this is well worth a share or two.

Also Consider: Edwin Encarnacion (1B, TOR) - $4,700

Second Base (2B)

Cesar Hernandez (2B, PHI) - $3,500

Hernandez followed up his 28 point Saturday with a 21 point Sunday and has three steals in his past five games. This is one of my main targets for Phillies stacks.

Shortstop (SS)

Alex Bregman (SS, HOU) - $3,300

Cue the hype train. Bergman will make his debut today and the No. 1 minor league prospect can rake. I have no concerns with throwing him to the fire in his debut versus an inconsistent Pineda.

Third Base (3B)

Adrian Beltre (3B, TEX) - $3,600

This pick was predicated on: a) the insane price for 3B today and b) the fact Beltre is heating up and mashes LHP. If you want to pay a premium at the hot corner, be my guest.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Odubel Herrera (OF, PHI) - $4,700

Herrera is coming off a series with Pittsburgh in which he hit 7-for-13 with 5 R, HR, and 2 SB. He'll look to continue being the focal point of the Phillies lineup tonight.

George Springer (OF, HOU) - $4,100

Springer has averaged over 20 points in his last five games and has a HR versus opponent Michael Pineda. Look for him to stay hot here.

Mark Trumbo (OF, BAL) - $4,700

Everyone keeps waiting for Trumbo to regress but he keeps mashing. He hit homers 29 and 30 this weekend and continues to mash at home (.293, 16 HR).

Also Consider: Giancarlo Stanton (OF, MIA) - $4,400 and Randal Grichuk (OF, STL) - $4,100
