DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (6/27/18): MLB DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on June 27th, 2018. Justin Bales' MLB DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

We're back to a sizable Wednesday, although it is broken into two slates. There is a three game early slate, but this article will focus around the larger 11 game slate. There are plenty of options in all pricing tiers tonight, making lineup construction fairly interesting.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 6/27/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @BalesSJustin.

DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers

Robbie Ray - P, at MIA ($10,000)

Ray has only thrown in six games this season because of injury, but he owns a 2-0 record with a 4.88 ERA and a 1.52 WHIP. More importantly, Ray owns an elite 14.6 K/9 through 27.2 innings. He gets a great matchup against the Miami Marlins, who strikeout at one of the highest rates on the slate. Ray is currently a -161 favorite in a game set at 8 runs, and he can be considered in all leagues until his price increases.

Alex Wood - P, vs CHC ($8,200)

Wood has struggled at times this season, recording a 3-5 record with a 4.13 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP. He does feature strikeout potential, though, posting an 8.4 K/9 through 15 starts. He has struggled a bit in a couple starts that has hurt his numbers overall, but he has looked good in the majority of his starts. He has scored 15+ fantasy points in five of his last nine games, and he's a -140 favorite in a game set at only 7.5 runs. Wood can be used in all leagues.

DraftKings DFS Infielders

Logan Morrison - 1B, at CWS ($3,300)

Morrison hasn't posted elite numbers recently, but he has been a fairly consistent fantasy option with good upside. He owns 41% hard-hit and 51% fly ball rates over the last 15 days, and he gets a good matchup against James Shields tonight. Morrison is cheap enough to be used in all leagues tonight.

Matt Carpenter - 2B, vs CLE ($4,700)

Carpenter has been playing well recently, hitting .297 with a .730 slugging percentage in a game set at 1.152 OPS over his last 10 games. He has posted dominant 58% hard-hit and 48% fly ball rates with a 96 mph exit velocity over the last 15 days. He gets a solid matchup against Shane Bieber, and Carpenter makes an elite option in all leagues.

Luis Valbuena - 3B, at BOS ($3,200)

Valbuena is currently everyone's favorite salary relief option. He comes with tremendous power, specifically against right-handed pitching. He also owns solid peripherals with 58% hard-hit and 48% fly ball rates over the last 15 days. He'll be playing in a hitter friendly stadium, and Valbuena can be used in tournaments tonight.

Jurickson Profar - SS, vs SD ($4,200)

Profar has caught fire recently, featuring a 59% hard-hit rate with a 95 mph exit velocity over the last 15 days. He's also a great option against left-handed pitching, posting 0.051 wOBA and 0.114 ISO differentials against lefties. He gets a good matchup against Clayton Richard, and Profar can be used in all leagues.

DraftKings DFS Outfielders

Joc Pederson - OF, vs CHC ($4,300)

Pederson has been playing at a high level recently, posting 65% hard-hit and 60% fly ball rates with a 94 mph exit velocity over the last 15 days. He has also been a dominant option against right-handed pitching, posting 0.113 wOBA and 0.159 ISO differentials against righties. He's leading off for the Dodgers, and Pederson is an extremely high upside option.

Matt Joyce - OF, at DET ($3,300)

Joyce is expected to draw the start against Mike Fiers, who is a right-handed pitcher. Joyce owns 0.092 wOBA and 0.099 ISO differentials against righties, and he's expected to hit second in the Oakland offense tonight. The A's have looked outstanding on the road this season, and Joyce should see plenty of opportunities to score fantasy points tonight. He makes an outstanding salary relief option.
