DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (5/30/18): MLB DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on May 30, 2018. Justin Bales' MLB DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

There are 15 games today, but they are broken into two games. I have opted to use players from both slates in this article. Generally, I only use the later, or main, slate, but I also wanted to utilize the Boston Red Sox, which led me to adding the early slate here.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 5/30/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @BalesSJustin.

DraftKings Starting Pitchers

Patrick Corbin - P, vs CIN ($10,900)

Corbin has been playing at an elite level this season, specifically at home. Through six home starts, he has recorded a 4-1 record with a 2.03 ERA and a 0.68 WHIP. He has also posted a 0.9 HR/9 with an 11.7 K/9 in Arizona. He gets a matchup against the Cincinnati Reds, who strikeout at a high clip. Corbin is a -193 favorite in a game set at 8.5 runs, and he can be considered in all leagues.

Ross Stripling - P, vs PHI ($7,300)

Stripling is a cheap option that has looked outstanding in his last two starts. In those games, he was able to score 35.4 and 31.1 fantasy points. He has thrown well all season, but he has a new role in the starting rotation for the time being. This is an outstanding matchup for Stripling, and he's a -170 favorite in a game set at 7.5 runs. He makes an elite salary relief option tonight.

DraftKings Infielders

Yasmani Grandal - C, vs PHI ($3,800)

Grandal has been struggling a bit recently, but he has been a significantly better option at home this season. He has also performed well against right-handed pitching, posting 0.004 wOBA and 0.123 ISO differentials against righties. He gets a good matchup against Zach Eflin, and Grandal can be considered in all leagues tonight.

Mitch Moreland - 1B, vs TOR ($4,100)

Moreland, like many Red Sox players, has been playing at an elite level in Boston this season. Through 18 games, he has posted a .359 average with a .703 slugging percentage and a 1.126 OPS. He gets a solid matchup against Sam Gaviglio, and Moreland has been a dominant option against right-handed pitching. He's an elite option in all leagues.

Matt Carpenter - 2B, at MIL ($3,900)

Carpenter has been one of the hottest hitters in the MLB over his last 10 games, recording a .390 average with a .756 slugging percentage and a 1.201 OPS over that span. He also has nine extra-base hits (three home runs) and five RBIs over that span. He gets a matchup against Junior Guerra, who has struggled at home this season. Carpenter can safely be used in all leagues.

Charlie Culberson - 3B, vs NYM ($2,800)

Culberson makes an interesting option. He has been a fairly consistent option recently, and he possesses solid upside for a low price tag. He gets an elite matchup against Jason Vargas, who has been one of the worst pitchers in the Majors this season. Culberson also features a 0.054 ISO differential against left-handed pitching. He's a great salary relief option tonight.

Johan Camargo - SS, vs NYM ($3,000)

Camargo is another Braves player that is a bit too cheap tonight. He's hitting a bit under .300 over his last 10 games, but he has not displayed much power over that span. With that being said, he does possess 0.09 wOBA and 0.105 ISO differentials against left-handed pitching. This is a matchup that is a bit too good to pass up, and there are a few cheap Braves that you can take advantage of tonight.

DraftKings Outfielders

Andrew Benintendi - OF, vs TOR ($5,200)

Benintendi has caught fire recently, recording a .382 average with an .882 slugging percentage and a 1.360 OPS over his last 10 games. He's also hitting nearly .400 with tremendous power in Boston this season. He is not going to come cheap, but Benintendi makes an elite option in all leagues on this slate.

Brandon Nimmo - OF, at ATL ($3,900)

Nimmo is known best as a consistent option because of his ability to get on base. He has also displayed upside recently, though, recording six extra-base hits (three home runs), three RBIs, and one steal over his last 10 games. He gets a good matchup against Julio Teheran tonight, and Nimmo makes a great option in all leagues.
