DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (4/7/19): MLB DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on April 7th, 2019. Justin Bales' MLB DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

After a double-slate on Saturday, we have one large Sunday slate. These are some of my favorite slates because it pushes ownership around, and significantly lessens chalk. It also allows for multiple ways to construct lineups in both cash games and tournaments.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/7/19. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too.

If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @BalesSJustin.

DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers

Mike Clevinger - P, vs TOR ($9,900)

Clevinger dominated the Chicago White Sox in his only start this season, recording 12 strikeouts over 7 innings. He scored 37.4 fantasy points in that game, as well. He gets a great matchup against the Toronto Blue Jays, who have struggled with breaking balls this season. Clevinger will be throwing plenty of breaking balls today, and he comes with elite upside. He's also a -143 favorite in a game set at 7.5 runs, giving the Blue Jays an implied total of only 3.5 runs.

Brad Peacock - P, vs OAK ($8,800)

Peacock has struggled at times as a starter throughout his career, but he's in a great spot today. He allowed only one run, while striking out five batters over 6.2 innings against the Texas Rangers in his first start. Today, he gets a plus matchup against the Oakland A's in a pitcher friendly stadium. He's a -172 favorite in a game set at 9 runs, but the A's own an implied total of only 3.9 runs.

DraftKings DFS Infielders

Tyler Flowers - C, vs MIA ($3,500)

Flowers comes close to a salary relief lock whenever he faces off against left-handed pitching. He owns 0.188 wOBA and 0.152 ISO differentials against lefties. Flowers has also been a dominant option in limited games this season. In only three games, he's hitting .500 with an .800 slugging percentage and a 1.383 OPS. Flowers gets a strong matchup against Caleb Smith, and he can be considered in all leagues.

Paul Goldschmidt - 1B, vs SD ($4,700)

Goldschmidt has been one of the hottest fantasy options in the MLB early this season. He's only hitting .219 over his first eight games, but he also owns five home runs and nine RBIs over that span. He's been consistent, while also flashing plenty of upside. Furthermore, over the last 15 days, Goldschmidt owns 68% hard-hit and 56% fly ball rates and a 100 mph exit velocity. He has been a more consistent and a more powerful option against Matt Strahm, and Goldschmidt can be considered in all leagues.

Ian Kinsler - 2B, at STL ($3,800)

Kinsler's numbers don't pop off the page, but he has score fantasy points in seven of his eight games, including a pair of games with double-digit fantasy points. He gets a great matchup against Adam Wainwright in a more hitter friendly stadium than he's used to. Kinsler has been a better option against right-handed pitching, and he'll be leading off for the San Diego Padres today. He can be considered in all leagues.

Yoan Moncada - 3B, vs SEA ($4,500)

Moncada has played in seven games this season, and he has been one of the best hitters in the MLB. Overall, he's hitting .379 with a .724 slugging percentage and a 1.162 OPS. He has struggled against left-handed pitching in the past, but the matchup against Wade LeBlanc is far from scary. Moncada has been playing well enough to overlook the matchup against a lefty.

Jorge Polanco - SS, at PHI ($4,000)

Polanco is hitting second in the Minnesota Twins lineup, and he has played well early this season. Though seven games, he's hitting .387 with six extra-base hits and one RBI. He gets a plus matchup against Zach Eflin in an extremely hitter friendly stadium. Polanco enters this game with 0.107 wOBA and 0.031 ISO differentials against right-handed pitching. He can be considered in all leagues today.

DraftKings DFS Outfielders

Domingo Santana - OF, at CWS ($4,200)

Santana has enjoyed a strong start to the season, hitting .286 with six extra-base hits (four home runs) and 14 RBIs. He also owns a 52% hard-hit rate over the last 15 days. He gets a great matchup against Ivan Nova, and Santana owns 0.146 wOBA and 0.102 ISO differentials against right-handed pitching. Santana is expected to hit third in Seattle Mariners lineup, and he makes an elite option tonight.

Harrison Bader - OF, vs SD ($3,700)

Bader has struggled at times this season, but he has also flashed quite a bit of upside. He has posted double-digit fantasy points in three of his seven games this season. Bader has also been a better option against left-handed pitching, recording 0.058 wOBA and 0.077 ISO differentials against lefties. Today, he gets a great matchup against Matt Strahm, and Bader makes a solid tournament option for a low price tag.
