DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks (7/22/16): MLB DFS Advice

By SD Dirk on Flickr [CC BY 2.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0)], via Wikimedia Commons

Justin Bales highlights the top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for 7/22/16. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your DraftKings MLB DFS lineups.

Isn't it amazing how Madison Bumgarner struggles against the San Diego Padres? In his last 10 starts, he has a 3.06 ERA against the Padres. That's the highest ERA of any team in the NL West against Bumgarner besides the Rockies, who play half their games in Colorado. It's just amazing that one of the elite pitchers in the MLB struggles against one of the worst offenses.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for DraftKings on 7/22/16. You can also see our FanDuel DFS lineup picks for 7/22/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on DraftKings. Well, let's get down to it!

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

Colorado Rockies - The Rockies are always in play at home. They get somewhat of a tough matchup against Teheran, but Coors will neutralize that matchup. They have been hot recently, and they are -135 favorites in a game set at 11 runs. They can be stacked in all leagues.

Boston Red SoxThe BoSox are one of the best offenses in the MLB, especially when they are playing in Boston. They get an elite matchup against Kyle Gibson, who has a 6.75 ERA on the road this season. The Red Sox are a -184 favorites in a game set at 10.5 runs, and they are an elite stack.

Detroit TigersThe Tigers aren't the best offenses in the Majors, but they get an elite matchup tonight. They'll face off against Jacob Turner, who was dominated in his first matchup against the Angels. The Tigers are -142 favorites in a game set at 9 runs, and they are a sneaky stack tonight.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Madison Bumgarner - Bumgarner has been a bit up and down this season, but he has flashed elite upside. He gets a tough matchup against the Yankees in an extremely hitter friendly stadium. Still, Bumgarner is a -129 favorite in a game set at 7.5 runs, and he can be used in all leagues.

Brandon McCarthyMcCarthy has looked elite in three starts this season. He gets a decent matchup against the Cardinals tonight, and this game is set at 8 runs. McCarthy has a great strikeout rate, and he hasn't been throwing many pitches. He could pitch deeper into this game as his arm begins to feel better, and he can be used in all leagues.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

Sandy LeonLeon continues to be underpriced on DraftKings, as he has been an elite hitter in his limited games this season. He is a consistent option with great upside, and he gets a good matchup against Gibson. Leon can be used in all leagues.

First Base (1B)

Paul GoldschmidtGoldschmidt has been playing well recently, as he's hitting well over .300 in his last 10 games. He gets a great matchup against Straily in an extremely hitter friendly stadium. Goldschmidt's price tag has dropped and he's a consistent option. He can be used in all leagues.

Second Base (2B)

Jason KipnisKipnis has been arguably the hottest hitter in the MLB recently, as he's hitting over .400 in his last 10 games. He gets a great matchup against Bundy, and Kipnis flashed elite upside recently. He isn't a cheap option, but he should be used in any league he fits.

Shortstop (SS)

Trea TurnerTurner has looked great since getting called up. He's hitting over .300 with good speed. He gets a great matchup against Perdomo, and Turner isn't very expensive yet. He's a great cheaper option tonight.

Third Base (3B)

Jose ReyesReyes hasn't been playing all that well for the Mets, but he has been a great fantasy option. He is extremely consistent, but he also has great upside. Even with his low batting average, Reyes can be used in all leagues in a good matchup against Conley.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Carlos GonzalezCarGo is an elite hitter in Colorado, and he has been hot over his last 10 games. He gets somewhat of a tough matchup against Teheran, but Gonzalez is fairly matchup proof at home. He can be used in all leagues.

Michael BournBourn has been heating up a bit over his last few games, and he has displayed good upside because of his speed. He gets a great matchup against Straily in a hitter friendly stadium, and Bourn is a good option in all leagues tonight.

Juan LagaresLagares has been ice cold recently, but he does start a lot, so his numbers don't mean he should be avoided. Lagares has played well in starts this season, and he should be starting against the left-handed Adam Conley. Lagares may be best suited for GPPs, though.
