DraftKings and FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (12/14/22): NBA DFS Lineups

NBA DFS sleepers and values plays for DraftKings and FanDuel on December 14, 2022. Juan Carlos Blanco gives you his top NBA DFS picks and lineup targets.

We've got a typically big 10-game NBA slate on Wednesday night, and fortunately, the injury report isn't poised to rob us of many premium choices.

There are some very good options in favorable matchups across each price point on the salary cap at each position, setting up what should be a fun night of lineup construction for both cash games and tournaments.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 12/14/22. Remember to monitor the NBA injury report as the slate can completely change before lineups lock, which is at 7:00 pm ET tonight. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Damian Lillard - PG, POR at SAS ($10,300 DK; $9,700 FD)

Lillard has been on fire over the last three games, averaging 38.0 points, 7.7 assists, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.3 steals while shooting 52.3 percent, including 51.1 percent from three-point range. The star guard already put up 43.5 DK/39.9 FD points against the Spurs in one prior meeting this season, and he should be in a good position for another fruitful performance considering San Antonio's typical defensive form.

The Spurs have yielded the fourth-highest offensive efficiency rating to point guards (29.2) on the season, and they're giving up 119.1 points per home game on a Western Conference-high 48.8 percent shooting.

Darius Garland - PG, CLE at DAL ($8,000 DK; $8,100 FD)

Garland has been in the midst of a shooting slump of late, which has helped lead to a price drop. The talented point guard is coming off a productive effort despite another rough night from the field against the Spurs on Monday night, generating 40.8 DK/38.9 FD points across 39 minutes.

The Mavericks could help facilitate an offensive resurgence for Garland, considering Dallas is allowing over 48 DK/47 FD points per game to point guards in the last 15 games and ranks in the bottom half of the league in offensive efficiency rating surrendered to the position on the season.

Cole Anthony - PG/SG, ORL vs. ATL ($5,300 DK; $5,900 FD)

Anthony has been productive since returning from an extended absence due to an oblique injury, scoring at least 25 DK points in five of the last six games and hitting or exceeding that mark on four occasions during that span. Anthony put up 20 DK/19.8 FD points across 24 minutes against Atlanta back on Nov. 30 as well, and he's subsequently shot a stellar 41.7 percent from behind the arc.

The Hawks have allowed 50.6 DK/49 FD points per game to the point guards over the last seven games as well, and Atlanta has notably given up 36.3 percent shooting from distance on the road, compared to 31.9 percent at home.

ALSO CONSIDER: Terry Rozier - SG/SF, CHA vs. DET ($8,000 DK; $7,900 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Julius Randle - PF, NYK at CHI ($8,700 DK; $8,200 FD)

Randle should be well rested coming into Wednesday's contest, considering he was ejected due to a pair of technicals after just 27 minutes of floor time against the Kings on Sunday. The big man still managed to score 42 DK/39.1 FD points in that span, and he'd scored over 48 on both sites in each of the previous two games as well.

The Bulls have been one of the most vulnerable teams to power forwards as well, surrendering the third-highest offensive efficiency to power forwards (29.7) while allowing 42.8 percent shooting from three-point range to the position. Chicago is also giving up over 48 DK and over 45 FD points per game to fours, and Randle has been a slightly more productive player on the road while averaging over 40 fantasy points per game on either site in that split.

Paolo Banchero - SF/PF, ORL vs. ATL ($7,700 DK; $7,800 FD)

Banchero is another member of the Magic worth considering at his salaries Wednesday, considering he's been overdelivering on them lately. The star rookie has scored 35.3 to 49 DK points and 36.2 to 46.9 FD points over his last four games, and although he's had some shooting struggles in his two prior encounters with the Hawks, he's still averaged 37.5 DK/36.2 FD points in that pair of contests.

The Hawks are short-handed in the frontcourt at the moment with John Collins (ankle) still sidelined, and Atlanta is surrendering over 48 DK and over 46 FD points per game to power forwards on the season. The Hawks have been even more vulnerable to the position of late with Collins out, yielding 50.3 DK/48.3 FD points per game to fours in the last seven.

Luguentz Dort - SF, OKC vs. MIA ($5,000 DK; $5,300 FD)

Dort is putting up career highs in rebounds (4.6), assists (2.3), and steals (1.1) this season, and his extremely modest salaries make his inconsistency from the field tolerable. The defensive-minded wing is also locked into a highly favorable matchup Wednesday, as the Heat has been the most vulnerable team to small forwards in the league this season.

Miami is allowing the highest offensive efficiency to threes (31.3), along with the third-most DK (45.7) and fourth-most FD (44.4) points per contest to the position. The Heat ranks in the bottom five in points (23.8), rebounds (8.4), assists (4.9), and made threes (3.0) surrendered to small forwards as well, giving Dort multiple paths to fantasy success.

ALSO CONSIDER: Paul George - SF/SG, LAC vs. MIN ($9,500 DK, $8,900 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Nikola Jokic - DEN vs. WAS ($11,800 DK; $11,800 FD)

Jokic is coming off one of his trademark jaw-dropping performances, a 31-point, 14-assist, 12-rebound, four-block effort that netted 80.5 DK/78.4 FD points in a win over the Jazz. The big man had also provided 60 DK/55.5 FD points in the prior game, and he's shot an outstanding 63.9 percent across nine home games thus far this season. The Wizards are allowing over 55 fantasy points per game to centers in the last seven games as well, which could well set Jokic up for another fruitful night.

Bam Adebayo - MIA at OKC ($8,300 DK; $9,000 FD)

Adebayo exploited a favorable matchup against the Pacers on Monday night, producing 53.3 DK/51.9 FD points across 35 minutes. The big man is in about as good a position Wednesday, as the Thunder has also been highly vulnerable to centers and has given up 58.1 percent shooting to the position. OKC is also yielding the ninth-highest offensive efficiency rating to centers (33.2), along with over 56 fantasy points per game on either site to fives. Adebayo has also been a slightly more productive player on the road, furthering his case against a team that also surrenders the fourth-most points in the paint per game (53.7).

Jusuf Nurkic - POR at SAS ($7,300 DK; $7,300 FD)

Nurkic carries very reasonable salaries for a player in the midst of a highly productive stretch that's seen him average 15.0 points, 11.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.4 blocks across 31.7 minutes in his last nine games. The versatile big man has eclipsed 40 DK points on six occasions in the sample and cleared the mark on FD in four instances as well, giving him an excellent ceiling for his salaries ahead of a highly appealing matchup against a Spurs team that's giving up a Western Conference-high 35.1 offensive efficiency rating to centers, along with over 54 fantasy points per game on either site to the position in the last 15 games.

ALSO CONSIDER: Mason Plumlee, CHA vs. DET ($6,100 DK; $6,200 FD)
