DraftKings and FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (11/3/22): NBA DFS Lineups

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Oklahoma City Thunder

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on November 3, 2022. Mike Marteny provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

Happy Thursday, RotoBallers! We are back to two games on our Thursday night slate this week. We have the Warriors in Orlando for the early tip. We head to Oklahoma City for the next game where Jokic will pile up huge numbers in his 28 minutes against the Oklahoma City Tankers.

With both FanDuel and DraftKings having multi-position eligibility players, we'll have to attack slates accordingly to make our lineups as optimal as possible. That's where I come in! I'll look to find my personal top plays and values for tonight's slate. Things can change during the day as well, so I'll do my best to update as news comes out!

Here are my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on 11/3/22. Keep an eye on RotoBaller’s NBA injury news and also our full NBA injury report today to stay up to date before lineups are locked.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - vs DEN (FD: $10,800, DK: $9,700)

I have a bit of an issue paying more for SGA than Curry, but SGA should play more minutes. He has cleared 60 fantasy points on both sites twice in the last four games and nearly hit 60 despite playing only 32 minutes against Orlando...and that was with Josh Giddey back. Don't look now, but the Thunder have won four straight. That streak likely ends here, but it hasn't been for lack of trying...yet.

Jordan Poole - at ORL (FD: $6,500, DK: $6,400)

Poole is extremely reliant on scoring, so his floor games are more like cellar games. He goes lower than most. That said, when he's sinking shots, he can clear 40, which he has done in two of the last three games. Poole is perfect for GPP formats and the Magic don't defend the perimeter well. Curry went bonkers against the Heat. It should be Poole's turn here.

Jamal Murray - at OKC (FD: $5,600, DK: $5,600)

The Nuggets have slowly ramped up Murray's minutes as the season has gone along after he missed all of the 2021-22 season with an ACL tear. Murray is starting to sink more shots and he is still the great distributor that we remember. His upside is high for the price here. Murray still won't play much, if any, over 30 minutes, but that's baked into the price. He's a steal tonight.

Also consider: Stephen Curry (FD: $10,200, DK: $9,900), Jalen Suggs (FD: $5,300, DK $5,700), Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (FD: $5,400, DK: $5,000)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Paolo Banchero - vs. GS (FD: $8,500, DK: $8,200)

Banchero is doing things rookies just don't do this early in their careers. He was the first rookie since Grant Hill to score 20+ points in his first six NBA games. He has since cooled off a little from the floor, but the peripheral numbers are still there. I'm a little concerned with Banchero having to tangle with Draymond, but forward is a touch thin tonight. I'll pay a little more for a sure thing.

Michael Porter - at OKC (FD: $7,000, DK: $6,500)

We are now seeing what Denver saw in Porter when they drafted him as a lottery pick knowing he would miss his entire rookie season. Porter has at least 26 fantasy points in every game this year and has even cleared 40. He's a walking double-double at this point and will throw in some steals and assists as well.

Bol Bol - vs. GS (FD: $5,800, DK: $6,200)

People forget just how good Bol Bol was in high school and how dominant he was in his one college game for Oregon before getting hurt. Bol was exiled to Denver for the first part of his career, but he was rescued by the Magic and is now starting for one of the most exciting young teams around right now. Bol will take up your C slot on FD, so this is more of a DK play. Bol is doing everything for the Magic right now. He's an efficient scorer. He is a great glass cleaner and rim protector. He has back-to-back double-doubles and should tally another here.

Also consider: Paolo Banchero (FD: $8,000, DK: $6,800), Draymond Green (FD: $5,700, DK: $6,000), Aleksej Pokusevski (FD: $5,000, DK: $4,600)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Nikola Jokic - at OKC (FD: $11,500, DK: $11,400)

Jokic put up 66 DK points in his first game against the Thunder this year. He has by far the highest upside on the slate. There is more than enough value to put in Jokic. I don't think you can fade him in cash games. You can in GPP's, especially on FD where you can use Bol Bol at center. However, fading Jokic on a slate like this is a very risky endeavor. You have to hope that he's a total flop and that the mid-range smashes.

Also consider: Wendell Carter (FD: $7,600, DK: $7,400)
