ANALYSIS: Arizona Diamondbacks third base prospect Deyvison De Los Santos has been one of the best power hitters in the minor leagues and is quickly approaching his major league debut.
The 21-year-old opened the campaign by getting his second look at Double-A and posted a stellar .372/.436/.696 slash line with 14 home runs and 37 RBI across 38 games.
Then, the right-handed bat earned a promotion to Triple-A Reno in late May and continued his impressive run. Through 47 games at the top level of the minor leagues, the third baseman has held a dominant .289/.333/.599 line with 14 home runs, and 36 RBI.

The Diamondbacks have their eyes set on competing this fall and they have been lacking offensive firepower at the hot corner. Eugenio Suarez has begun to heat up in July but still sits with a modest .215 AVG.
De Los Santos can provide elite power production during the stretch run of the season and should have prime RBI opportunities batting in the Arizona lineup.
