Davante Adams fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 9 (2024). Should you start or sit Davante Adams for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR21
ANALYSIS: New York Jets wide receiver Davante Adams hasn’t had an ideal 2024 fantasy football season. The star wide receiver is the WR62 for the year, averaging 9.6 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. He averaged nine targets and 12 fantasy points per game with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Unfortunately, Adams hasn’t been any better since getting traded to the Jets. The veteran has averaged 7.5 targets and six fantasy points per game in the two contests with New York, scoring 7.4 or fewer in both. Last week, Adams was shut down by the New England Patriots and superstar cornerback Christian Gonzalez.

Thankfully, the star receiver has an appealing matchup on Thursday night. He faces a Houston Texans defense that has surrendered 28.3 fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season, the eighth-most in the NFL. They have given up at least one receiving touchdown to wide receivers in all but one game this year.
