Today I'll be bringing you my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS lineup picks, analysis, and advice for eSports DFS contests on DraftKings for Thursday, April 29th, 2021 at 6:00 AM.

Dreamhack Masters Spring 2021

Best of 1 Series

  • Gambit (-1200) vs. Fiend
  • Spirit (-155) vs. G2
  • Navi (-185) vs Mousesports
  • FaZe vs. Virtus.Pro (-140)
  • Astralis (-185) vs. Extra Salt
  • Complexity (-140) vs. Vitality
  • Furia (-115) vs. BIG (-120)
  • paiN vs. Heroic (-600)

Captain Plays:

Sh1ro is the best player on the top team in the country so it makes too much sense to consider him as a captain option for your builds. When looking at his numbers over the last 77 maps played, Sh1ro has generated a 1.47 K/D ratio and is carrying a 1.26 game rating which is the highest rating on all of Gambit. The one downside to rostering Sh1ro at the captain spot is that he is extremely costly and limits the salary for the rest of your team. On the flip side, he has posted 70+ DK points in 12 straight games and has over 50+ kills in eight of those contests so the upside is certainly there if you choose to pay for it.

oSee was one of the main cogs for the former squad that was Cloud9 but now he leads Extra Salt who look to all be underpriced in their matchup against Astralis. He is a very solid player and is sporting a 1.43 K/D ratio over the last 83 maps played while having a .85 kill per round rate and a .60 death per round rate. He is priced at $7,800 which is extremely low for a guy that was priced at 10k just a few months back. oSee has produced 60+ DK points in three straight games and looks to be in good enough form to consider him as a cheaper captain option which frees up salary for the remainder of your squad.

Other captain plays: mir, Jame, Zyw0o, XANTARES, YEKINDAR

Value Plays:

FaNg is another Extra Salt member that looks to be a little underpriced but is in good form. He has produced 55+ DK points in three straight games and is sporting a 1.11 K/D ratio over his last 83 maps played. FaNg is generating a .71 kill per round rate while keeping his death per round rate at .65 which is a solid differential for his price point of $6,200. FaNg is sporting a 61.4 DK average and while the matchup looks tough, he should be able to be a viable play in all formats and offers enough upside to consider for your tournament builds.

refrezh is coming off of a stinker of a performance where he scored 29 DK points but before that poor performance, he was in great form as he scored 60+ DK points in six straight games. Heroic is a large favorite which means it should be an easier matchup for refrezh and company and at his price point of $6,400, he makes for a strong value play in all formats. Refrezh is sporting a 1.12 K/D ratio over his last 69 games played and has a .70 kill per round rate while having only a .63 death per round rate over that same span of games.

Other value plays:  acoR, Sonic, poizon, sjuush, tabseN

Top Stacks/ Team Picks:

Gambit looks to be the largest favorite on the slate so it would be smart to consider stacking them in your tournament builds. Gambit comes into this matchup as the winners of three straight matches while also winning 13 straight best-of-three matchups. Gambit is the top team in the world and they're sporting a 1.15 team K/D ratio over the last three months of games played while their opponent, Fiend, is sporting a team K/D ratio of 1.07 over their last three months of games played. Gambit carries the map advantage against Fiend as they have a higher winning percentage on five of the seven playable tournament maps and should dominate this matchup.

When looking at their roster, the stacking component starts with looking at Sh1ro. He is the best player in the world and has been in great form over the last three months which is why he carries a high price tag. Hobbit and Ax1le have also been in strong form recently as they are both carrying above a 1.15 K/D ratio over the last three months' worth of games played. Nafany and interz are cheaper options to consider with nafany being the better option as he carries a higher upside (has scored 70+ DK points in three of his last five games played).

Extra Salt is a team that could easily get overlooked on this slate and with Astralis being a decent-sized favorite, you could consider Extra Salt as a way to get different on this slate. They should see lower ownership as Astralis is the Vegas favorite in this matchup and people will flock to them but this might not be as easy of a matchup for Astralis as some might think it is. Extra Salt is sporting a team K/D ratio of 1.13 over the last three months of games played while their opponent, Astralis, is only sporting a team K/D ratio of .99 over their last three months of games played. Extra Salt actually carries higher winning percentages on five of the seven playable maps which makes them even more intriguing as a cheaper team to use if paying up at the captain spot and needing to fit in a cheaper team.

On this squad, they have several key players to consider using if choosing to stack them. oSee is the top player on this team as he carries the highest upside and highest K/D ratio on this team so he would be the first person to throw into an Extra Salt stack. Outside of him, Sonic and FaNg would be the two main other Extra Salt members to consider as they are producing K/D ratios above 1.10 over the last three months of games played.

Other Top Stacks/ Teams: Heroic, Virtus.Pro, NaVi
