Mike Marteny's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the Saturday (10/25/25) main slate in Week 9. His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.
We're back up to a dozen games on the main slate this week. What was supposed to be a huge Group of 5 tilt is now just a solid one with South Florida heading to Memphis to kick us off. Mississippi makes its first-ever trip to Norman. The first two games in this series were the 1999 Independence Bowl in Shreveport and last year's game in Oxford. We have the Sunflower Showdown in Lawrence. Syracuse heads to Atlanta to take on the Bees. Virginia heads to Chapel Hill to be Belichicked. UCLA is in Bloomington for a 9 a.m. Pacific kickoff against the third-ranked team in the country. Auburn heads to Fayetteville to take on the Hogs in a monsoon.
The afternoon kicks start with Alabama in South Carolina to take on the Gamecocks. Missouri is in Nashville to take on Vandy. BYU heads to Ames to take on the Cyclones. Baylor is in the Queen City to take on the Bearcats. We finish the afternoon in StarkVegas with Texas in town to hear those sweet, sweet cowbells.
In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the main DraftKings slate on 10/25/25, starting at noon Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers, aiming to highlight one option at each end of the salary scale, from high to low. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
Byrum Brown, South Florida ($9K)

The last time these two teams met in Memphis, there were 109 combined points, and Brown put up that stat line. That's slate-breaking material. The weather isn't supposed to hit the other side of Arkansas until Sunday morning, so this game should play dry and provide plenty of fireworks.
Brown has at least 200 passing yards in every game this year and has topped 100 rushing yards in two of the last three. The non-conference part of the schedule was the toughest for South Florida this year. You'll see some huge stat lines from Brown coming down the stretch. It starts here.
Sawyer Robertson, Baylor ($8.7K)
Robertson still leads FBS in passing yards and is tied for the lead in passing touchdowns. The three interceptions in the fourth quarter last week against TCU hurt, but believe it or not, he may be in a better spot this week.
While Cincinnati's defense is good, they have still allowed 274.5 passing yards per game. Robertson is going to put up some big passing numbers. He has surpassed 300 yards in five of seven games, going over 400 yards twice.
Avery Johnson, Kansas State ($8.1K)
Johnson threw for 253 yards and a pair of touchdowns while running for 67 more and another touchdown in the Sunflower Showdown last year. Kansas's defense was better last year than it has been this year.
The flip side of that is that Johnson struggled without Dylan Edwards earlier in the season. He looked solid against TCU (22.8 DraftKings points) without him last week. There's a path to the high 30s in DK points for Johnson in this game.
Brendan Sorsby, Cincinnati ($7.4K)
Even Jackson Arnold accounted for 245 total yards against Baylor. Sorsby is so much better! He scored four touchdowns against Oklahoma State last week. We could see more than that today since Baylor has the firepower to keep up. This is a dream matchup for Sorsby.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Joe Jackson, Kansas State ($7K)
I'm really not a fan of the giant price hike. Jackson had a solid game for the injured Dylan Edwards last week, but 16.3 DK points usually don't translate to a $7K price tag.
The good news is that Kansas can't stop the run, and Edwards is out again. Jackson has the best matchup among the upper tier of backs, and he has significantly less wear and tear than the field at this point in the season. The upside is enormous here.
Jeremiah Cobb, Auburn ($5.9K)
Hugh Freeze practically signed his resignation papers by kicking Damari Alston a team captain off the team.
He has now officially lost the locker room. Once that happens nothing can save you.

There are conflicting reports as to what actually happened with Alston. One faction had it that he wanted to redshirt so he could get more on film next year to attract NFL attention. He intended to return to Auburn.
The story told by coach Hugh Freeze is that Alston wanted to redshirt so he could play for another team next season, but he still wanted his NIL money. The truth likely lies somewhere in between.
However, considering the overwhelming player support for Alston, I believe the first option a little more. If Alston quit on the team and was going to leave, I wouldn't expect the current players to support him. We saw what happened with Matthew Sluka at UNLV last year.
Damari Alston was dismissed from the team, so we could see a significant workload from Cobb. It's expected to rain early, often, and heavily in Fayetteville on Saturday. Jackson Arnold will function as the backup RB since he's not a great passer even when the weather is good.
Cobb has not lost a fumble on the season, and ran for over 100 yards against Missouri last week. Arkansas is 125th in rush defense (210.3 yards per game), so we could see a massive game out of Cobb if this team doesn't give up.
Tory Blaylock, Oklahoma ($5.6K)
Mississippi is allowing 167.4 rushing yards per game this season (89th), and Blaylock is clearly the top back in the Oklahoma backfield. The Sooners finally figured out this backfield mess.
Blaylock had 20 touches against South Carolina, racking up 101 rushing yards and scoring a touchdown. I look for Oklahoma to run at Ole Miss in this one, making Blaylock an excellent play for the price.
Nykahi Davenport, South Florida ($4.2K)
Memphis has a solid run defense, and South Florida has three backs, not counting the quarterback, who also gets carries. This is a nightmare situation for DFS.
Davenport has scored a touchdown in three of the last four games and has picked up 40 touches in those games. He's getting a good number of opportunities for the price in a game that is trending towards high-scoring. There's a lot of GPP upside here.

- Mike Washington Jr., Arkansas ($6.1K)
- Daniel Hishaw Jr., Kansas ($5.5K)
- Sedrick Alexander, Vanderbilt ($5.1K)
- Tawee Walker, Cincinnati ($5K)
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Elijah Sarratt, Indiana ($7.6K)
Usually, I wouldn't go here with the Hoosiers as a heavy favorite. However, when Indiana blows teams out, they get there through the air, then grind the team into submission. They did so with Illinois, Kennesaw State, and Michigan State. Sarratt caught multiple touchdowns in all three of those games.
He leads the Hoosiers with nine touchdowns already this season. Sarratt averages a little over eight targets, six receptions, and 86 yards per game to go with those touchdowns. UCLA will try to take him out of the game, but I'm not sure they will succeed.
Cortez Braham Jr., Memphis ($5.8K)
South Florida's run defense has been solid, so expect Memphis to go to the air to try to keep up. Braham has five of the team's nine touchdown receptions and has almost 150 yards more than the next closest receiver. Braham is the alpha receiver on a team that doesn't pass much.
Cyrus Allen, Cincinnati ($5.7K)
Allen is a GPP darling. He can nuke a slate. He had 26.4 DK Points against Oklahoma State last week. He put up 38.8 DK points against Kansas earlier this year. What did those games have in common? Cincinnati scored at will.
In games where the Cincinnati offense doesn't move well, Allen is less of a factor. This won't be one of those games. The sky is the limit for Allen in this one.
Jeremiah Koger, South Florida ($4.7K)
The freshman has come on huge lately for the Bulls, pulling in 12 passes for 259 yards and four touchdowns in the last three games. The secret of Chas Nimrod is out. Koger is taking advantage of teams doubling Nimrod, and Brown is willing to throw him the ball. His low mark in the last three games is 17.5 DK points.
Brenen Thompson, Mississippi State ($3.7K)
We uncovered the huge value with Jordan Hudson last week. Thompson could be that guy this week. Tennessee is the only team to hold Thompson under 10 DK points in a game this season. He nuked Florida with 155 receiving yards last week.
Thompson's speed is his greatest asset. We have seen some burners get behind the Texas defense at times this year. At this price, all it takes is one big play for Thompson to pay off.

- Ryan Williams, Alabama ($7.1K)
- Jayce Brown, Kansas State ($6.5K)
- Michael Trigg, Baylor ($6.1K)
- Isaiah Sategna III, Oklahoma ($5.6K)
- Chase Roberts, BYU ($5.1K)
- Trell Harris, Virginia ($4.3K)
- Chase Sowell, Iowa State ($3.8K)
- Harrison Wallace III, Mississippi ($3.5K)
DraftKings CFB DFS Stacks
South Florida vs. Memphis - Game Stack
Brown put up a game for the ages the last time he played in Memphis. This iteration of the Memphis defense might be even worse. We will see a lot of entries run Brown by himself. That may be a mistake.
Brown has made big strides as a passer this year. Nimrod missed last week with an undisclosed injury, but freshmen Koger and Keshaun Singleton didn't miss a beat. Both are worth using again if Nimrod is out. If Nimrod plays, use him and Koger.
Davenport has been the most effective South Florida back, but this is a three-headed monster, and Brown carries as much as all three of them put together. I like adding Davenport to the stack as a price-saving option to pay up for another quarterback.
If stacking Memphis, you almost have to use both backs (Greg Derosiers Jr. and Sutton Smith), even though USF has a solid run defense. Memphis will run with both backs and QB Brendon Lewis. Cortez Braham Jr. is the only Memphis receiver I'm interested in.
Cincinnati vs. Baylor
The Bearcats will get out and run if they can. Baylor is one team that cannot stop them. As with Brown, I feel many will run Sorsby solo. I will have several mini stacks of Sorsby and Cyrus Allen. If full-stacking Cincinnati, add Jeff Caldwell and Tawee Walker.
A contrarian five-man that almost no one will run is Sorsby, Allen, Caldwell, Walker, and Evan Pryor. Pryor is a threat to house it every time he touches the ball, which makes him a great GPP target. Any Cincinnati stack should be run back with Baylor's Robertson.
