ANALYSIS: Oakland Athletics outfield prospect Colby Thomas earned a promotion to Triple-A Las Vegas at the end of June and is now just one stop away from the big leagues.
Through his first 34 games at the top level of the minors, the Mercer product has posted a strong .303/.384/.568 slash line with seven long balls, 24 RBI, and a 12:38 BB:K ratio.

Earlier this season, at his first look at Double-A, Thomas held a .282/.340/.568 line.
The former third round selection in the 2022 MLB Draft has progressed through the minor leagues very quickly and has yet to hit a significant roadblock in his development. Thomas is worth stashing in deeper leagues as he could earn a taste of the major leagues later this summer given his current trajectory.
