With March Madness finally here, there is nothing better than a little CBB DFS. Many people fill out brackets for the NCAA college basketball tournament, and DFS games have become increasingly popular as well.
Below are our favorite FanDuel DFS picks for the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament, March 29th, 2015. The first three rounds were filled with lots of great games, and hopefully today will be just as fun and exciting, including your DFS games on FanDuel.

CBB DFS Players to Target
Montrezl Harrell– F Louisville, $9,700
Harrell was an absolute beast against NC State. They had no answer for him, offensively or defensively. He consistently plays with as much passion as Russell Westbrook always plays with. Michigan State is a very good team but they do not have the big men to stop Harrell. Harrell will be able to completely dominate the glass and will bully his way down low and get a lot of free throw attempts.
Travis Trice – G Michigan State, $8,300
Louisville is an elite defensive team, but only in the half court. Look for Trice to push the pace and try and got some easy buckets in transition. So far this tournament, Trice has been absolutely cold blooded and has hit every big shot. Look for him to embrace the national spotlight of the elite eight and have a monster performance. He is the ball handler and distributor for Michigan State as well. If Michigan State is going to win, Trice will have a big game.
CBB DFS Value Plays
Gavin Schilling– F Michigan State, $4,800
The back-up center for Michigan State, will presumably get a lot of playing time with Harrell being extremely physical down low. Costello, the starting center, is going to have to battle very hard to keep Harrell from getting really good position which will mean Schilling will get minutes. Schilling plays very hard and is pretty good on the glass. Also, look for him to get some easy offensive rebounds and put backs when the Michigan State guards drive and the Louisville defenses collapses.
Quentin Snider– G Louisville $5,500
Snider, who got almost no playing time during the regular season, now starts for Louisville. Don’t be fooled by his 7.63 Fanduel points per game average because he has averaged over 15 in the tournament so far. He is an underrated scorer and Louisville looks to him when they are struggling. At $5,500, Snider is not only a steal, but a must have.
CBB DFS Players to avoid
Justise Winslow – F Duke, $9,700
Winslow, a freshman forward for Duke that is arguably as talented as Okafor, is the most expensive forward for Sunday’s games. Gonzaga is elite defensively and have the personnel to bang bodies down low with Winslow. With Okafor being $200 less expensive than Winslow is does not make sense to me to take Winslow over Okafor. Both may struggle but Okafor will get more touches and attempts down low.
Kyle Wiltjer– F Gonzaga $8,800
Wiltjer has been absolutely on fire this tournament and has been draining three ball after three ball. He has also been very crafty finishing inside. Coach K will make sure that Wiltjer will not beat his team, which is not promising for the Gonzaga forward. Duke has the personnel that could guard Wiltjer on the three point arc and also bang bodies with his down low. Wiltjer has not faced adversity this tournament so far because he has been so deadly from the behind the arc. If he struggles early he could be off for the rest of the game.
