Caleb Williams fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 1 (2024). Should you start or sit Caleb Williams for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 14-Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: High-End QB2
ANALYSIS: Caleb Williams has never taken a snap in a regular-season NFL game. Even with that limitation, he's ranked as a borderline QB1 option heading into Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season. While there are 12-15 quarterbacks who can be ranked in front of him, starting Williams against the Titans isn't the end of the world.
A big part of that is because the Bears have built a strong receiving game around Williams. The team has D.J. Moore, Keenan Allen, and Rome Odunze to catch passes from Williams, as well as tight end Cole Kmet and running back D'Andre Swift.
It's about as good a spot as you can get for the 2022 Heisman Trophy winner. Assuming he's able to translate well into the NFL, he has a chance to be a top-10 fantasy quarterback as a rookie. Of course, Week 1 is when Williams will be the biggest mystery, so don't play him over any top 10 guys just yet.

His time is coming, though. If Williams is somehow out there on the waiver wire, he's a high-end QB2 immediately with QB1 upside. Even if you don't start him in Week 1 because of concerns over him being a rookie, there will be plenty of weeks in 2024 when he's worth starting in fantasy leagues.
