Brenton Doyle is a solid fantasy baseball waiver wire pickup for Week 9 (2024). Fantasy baseball managers should add Doyle as a waiver wire free agent in all formats.
BALLER MOVE: Add in All Formats
ROSTERED IN: 52% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Brenton Doyle has been raking thus far in 2024, and based on his rostership in most leagues, it has gone largely unnoticed. He is slashing .281/.337/.464 on the young season and has collected five home runs, 13 RBI, and 12 walks. He has also racked up eight stolen bases, four of which have come in the past week.
Finding production like this on the waiver wire is tough to do, and the fact that he plays at Coors Field makes this acquisition even more potent for fantasy lineups. At home, Doyle has posted a 1.002 OPS across 79 PA. As a right-handed hitter, he has performed well against right-handed pitching, having posted an .852 OPS and collecting all five of his home runs.
Doyle is most notably a threat to steal bases as he stole 22 bags across 126 games played in 2023, but he can also produce some power, as noted by his 26 home runs across 132 games during his 2022 minor league season. He is a must-add in all formats.
