J.J. Putz (RP, SEA)

Putz was activated from the disabled list. He's been fine in rehab, and ARZ will be glad to get him back as Heath Bell was falling apart recently. Putz should resume closing nearly immediately so if you need saves, he's a great add.

A.J. Griffin (SP, OAK)

Griffin is coming off a CG Shutout vs. the powerhouse Reds racking up 7 Ks while only allowing 4 baserunners. His 3.56 ERA and 1.09 WHIP on the year are very respectable and he's worth picking up in the 50% of leagues he's available.

Matt Garza (SP, CHC)

Garza is still only 65% owned in Yahoo! leagues. It's borderline criminal. If he's available in your league pick him up IMMEDIATELY, if not sooner. Why? Since getting bombed for 9 ER vs. CIN on the 11th, Garza has pitched 3 starts combining for 22 IP, 23:5 K:BB, just 2 ER and 2 Ws. He's […]

Benoit closed out the Rays on Friday night with a 2K inning, locking down his 5th save of the year. Benoit is settling into the DET closer role nicely and should be owned in all leagues if you're in need of saves. Add him immediately.
