Doc Redman Sets His Sights On Pebble Beach

Doc Redman broke his streak of three straight missed cuts at The Farmers Insurance Open last week. Redman finished in 25th place in San Diego, gaining 3.8 strokes on approach. The 24-year-old American has struggled recently. He only had two top-10 finishes last year and 15 missed cuts. Pebble Beach may offer little respite for Redman. Poa is Redman's worst putting surface, and when he played at Pebble Beach in 2020, he lost 3.2 strokes on the green. If Redman is going to contend this week, he will have to rely on his approach game. His performance last week may give some hope for that. However, it may be best to fade Redman in all formats.
