49ers Defense Holds Titans Under 300 Total Yards
The San Francisco 49ers' defense held the Tennessee Titans under 300 total yards but still wound up losing their Week 16 primetime game 20-17 on Thursday night. While the 49ers' defense played well for most of the night, A.J. Brown torched their secondary, catching 11 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown. They were also unable to prevent Ryan Tannehill from executing a final two-minute drive to put the Titans in position to deliver the game-winning field goal kick from 44 yards out with four seconds left. They should remain a top-12 D/ST to stream against the lowly Houston Texans at home in Week 17.
