Kirk Cousins Struggles But Vikings Hold On For 36-28 Victory Over Steelers

Another week, another close Minnesota Vikings game. Quarterback Kirk Cousins and the offense dominated the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first half, jumping out to a 23-0 lead before ultimately hanging on for a 36-28 win on Thursday night. Cousins was uncharacteristically inefficient in this one, completing only 45% of his passes for 216 yards and two touchdowns. Entering the game with only three interceptions on the season, Cousins threw two against the Steelers. Luckily for Minnesota, Dalvin Cook and the Viking run game picked up the slack with 242 yards on the ground. Playing without Adam Thielen, Cousins struggled to find a rhythm with his receivers not named Justin Jefferson. Cousins and the Vikings will have a few extra days to prepare for a Week 15 matchup with division rival Chicago Bears in the first round of the fantasy playoffs.
