Alvin Kamara’s Role Changing?

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara was held without a target for the first time in his career in the Week 4 loss to the New York Giants. However, fantasy managers in PPR scoring formats shouldn't start panicking just yet. Head coach Sean Payton noted that the change in his usage was due to the injury of Tony Jones Jr. and how the Giants were covering him. Kamara handled a career-high 26 carries for 120 rushing yards, so he is showing he is able to be productive as a pure runner as well. Moving forward, the 26-year-old will continue to be a locked-and-loaded RB1 for the remainder of the season, as he will almost certainly still have a significant role in the passing game.
