Pittsburgh Penguins forward Jake Guentzel will be sidelined for an undisclosed amount of time after testing positive for COVID-19 on Sunday. As a result, the 26-year-old missed his team's pre-season tilt with the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday. Guentzel is currently being monitored by the Penguin's medical staff and will follow the NHL's protocols. Any extended absence from Guentzel - especially considering the team is also without Evgeni Malkin and Sidney Crosby due to injury - would be a tough news for Pittsburgh. The Nebraska-born winger posted 57 points (23 goals, 34 assists), a plus-seven rating, 18 power-play points, 141 shots and 43 hits in 56 games in 2020-2021.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
