Justin Fields Not Being Rushed

Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields is "not being rushed" according to general manager Ryan Pace. It appears that the rookie won't start the season, but assuming that quarterback Andy Dalton doesn't set the league on fire, Fields could quickly assume the starting gig. It remains unseen how the first-round pick's skills will translate to the NFL, but if they share any resemblance to his days at Ohio State, fantasy managers should be excited about the signal-caller. That said, some skepticism is warranted in terms of how well his arm will translate at the next level, but his rushing ability appears fairly undeniable. At an ADP of 134, the former Buckeye is worth a bench spot in most standard leagues, though he can be left on the wire in shallow redraft leagues if Dalton does start.
