Trey Lance Trending In The Right Direction

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Trey Lance (finger) is "trending in the right direction" according to general manager John Lynch. As the preseason concluded, it became increasingly apparent that the rookie wouldn't start Week 1, so this injury was never too concerning for fantasy managers. Still, the No. 3 overall pick holds immense upside once he inevitably takes the job from veteran quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. Excluding top quarterback options Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen and Justin Herbert, Lance is the only player that holds the same cherished combination of arm strength and mobility, and in such a quarterback-friendly system, he will be set up to channel his skills immediately. The 21-year-old is a valuable asset in dynasty and Superflex leagues and is worth a roster spot in standard leagues as well.
