The Cincinnati Bengals waived rookie running back Pooka Williams Jr. on Tuesday. According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the team is hoping that Williams clears waivers so that they can sign him to their practice squad. Williams is an undrafted rookie out of the University of Kansas. He's 5'10" and he ran a 4.36 40-yard dash at this year's NFL combine. He suffered a hamstring injury during training camp with the Bengals, which forced him to miss some practice time. Meanwhile, as a result of this development, fellow rookie running back Chris Evans appears primed to be the No. 4 back on the Bengals this year, behind Joe Mixon, Samaje Perine and Trayveon Williams.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
