The Chicago Blackhawks added forward Tyler Johnson in a trade with the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday. In exchange, injured defenseman Brent Seabrook was flipped to the Lightning. Johnson's contract carries a $5 million AAV for the next three years. Last season, Johnson scored just eight goals and recorded 22 total points in 55 games. He scored 77 points back in 2014-15 but his offensive game has been on the decline since then. However, he could possibly rediscover some of that scoring touch if he receives a larger role in Chicago. Seabrook is expected to be transitioned to the LTIR and will likely never suit up for the Lightning. Once on LTIR, his contract (three years with a $6.875 AAV) will not count against the club's salary cap. --Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
