Nationals Select Brady House In First Round Of Draft
The Washington Nationals selected Brady House with the 11th overall pick in the 2021 amateur draft. The Georgia high school shortstop was ranked by Rotoballer as the 13th-best talent available. House has above-average power, but he's a little stiff on the baseball diamond with noticeable swing-and-miss to his game. He may not hit for a high average as a pro and has some similarities to Nolan Gorman of the Cardinals, another former prep first-rounder. Once he signs, House will likely slide in as the second-best prospect in the Nationals system just behind Cade Cavalli.
