Spencer Turnbull Holds Yankees To Just One Run
                
        
        Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Spencer  Turnbull had a strong outing against the New York Yankees on Saturday. He pitched 5 2/3 innings and allowed three hits, three walks and one earned run while striking out six. He earned the win to improve to 4-2 on the year. Turnbull was just one out shy of recording his fourth consecutive quality start. He's on quite a roll right now. He has a 2.93	ERA and 1.02 WHIP over eight starts on the year. His next start will be on Friday against the Chicago White Sox.
