3 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Blake Snell lasted just four innings Wednesday against the Colorado Rockies, permitting two earned runs. The whiffs were again working for Snell as he fanned seven, but he also relinquished five hits and three walks while laboring through 84 pitches. Across eight starts, the left-hander owns a pedestrian 4.19 ERA and 1.54 WHIP, failing to complete six frames in any outing. His fantasy value has been buoyed by a 31 percent strikeout rate but it's come with free passes at a 15 percent clip. Under the hood, it's tough for managers to feel optimistic but he should be started next Wednesday when the Friars take on the Rockies at Petco Park.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
