Montreal Canadiens routed the Winnipeg Jets 7-1 on Saturday. Winger Brendan Gallagher helped contribute to the win by notching two goals and adding an assist. Gallagher tallied his goals in the second period and added his assist midway through the third period. He played on the Canadiens first line Saturday racking up 19 shifts while having just over 14:00 of total ice time. The nine-year veteran has recorded 10 goals and six assists while playing in 23 Canadiens games.
