DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Lineup Picks for 2/25/21 - Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Mike Marteny offers his DraftKings daily fantasy EuroLeague basketball plays and sleepers for 2/25/21. His EuroLeague DFS lineup picks and sleepers will help you win on DraftKings.

The larger part of Round 26 is Thursday this week, so we have five games to choose from. It all starts at noon Eastern, so make sure we get those lineups in early! Today we are missing Alexey Shved, Stefan Jovic, and Devin Booker isn't even confirmed to be back in Russia yet, so my guess is that he doesn't play either. We are likely looking at a depleted Khimki team. That should mean some value for the Russians and the potential of a blowout for Milan.

No games have been postponed for this round, so for the first time in a while, we should have all nine games. There is far more depth at guard for Friday's slate. On this one, the frontcourt seems to have an advantage. Which guys are worth paying up for? Which Khimki value is not just pyrite? Let's dive in and take a look!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy EuroLeague lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/25/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard, forward, and center, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Guards

Mike James, CSKA ($13,200)

James and his teammates have not played in three weeks due to the break and the cancellation last week. However, unlike Devin Booker, James returned to Russia from the U.S. in plenty of time for last week's game. He should be good to go with a full workload against Piraeus. That's very good news. James put up 42.75 DraftKings points in the first game against them. James is one of the few guys in the league that can hit 50 DraftKings points. He has even cleared 60 once this year! The ceiling is worth paying for.

Kevin Punter, Milan ($8,900)

Khimki is the best matchup in the EuroLeague for guards even with Shved on the court. Yes, Milan can and should run off with this, but someone still has to score the points to get them that far ahead. Punter is the main candidate to do that. He put up 26.75 DraftKings points in just 22 minutes in the first meeting. Punter doesn't have the massive upside we would like to see, but his floor is higher than usual due to the matchup. He's the guard that is least likely to bust today.

Vyacheslav Zaytsev, Khimki ($6,700)

Errick McCollum didn't play last round, so he may be out as well. If that's the case, Dairis Bertans deserves consideration too. He plays pretty well when given minutes. It looks like Zaytsev will have to handle the point with the Khimki guard corps decimated. He should play most of the 40 minutes in this game, giving him a ceiling that we don't normally see in this price range. Bertans is solid too if you need more than one punt.

Also consider: Kevin Pangos, St. Petersburg ($9,800); Thomas Walkup, Piraeus ($7,900); K.C. Rivers, St. Petersburg ($5,600)

DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Forwards

Jordan Mickey, Khimki ($10,000)

Who else can score on this team? Zaytsev is solid, but not a proven scorer. Bertans and McCollum can be if they get hot. The only proven scorer that is healthy right now is Mickey. I am a little worried about how this offense is going to run without Shved and Jovic. That would be the only reason to move off of Mickey. However, I think Mickey has the highest ceiling of the five-figure forwards tonight. He also may have the lowest floor, so I wouldn't turn here in cash. Walter Tavares is the cash play.

Shavon Shields, Milan ($8,800)

Shields has a terrifying floor for someone that is this expensive, but this is an absolute dream spot for anyone in a Milan uniform. Hell, slap a uniform on Ettore Messina and I'll use him in DFS today. Shields couldn't be stopped in the first meeting against Khimki. The Russians were at full strength in that game. Shields erupted for a season-best 41.75 DraftKings points in that game. I wouldn't expect the same kind of output here, but he could come close.

Gabriel Deck, Real Madrid ($7,500)

The best thing that came from Facundo Campazzo's exodus to the NBA is guaranteed minutes for Deck. For the last two years, the rotations for Real Madrid have been maddening. However, things have stabilized to the point now where Deck consistently gets around 25 minutes. He has played at least 23 minutes in every game since Campazzo's departure. Now the result is a solid floor and that massive upside that we all covet. Deck's ceiling games are few and far between, but just the possibility is enough to pay for him in GPP formats.

Also consider: Walter Tavares, Real Madrid ($10,400); Vladimir Lucic, Munich ($9,000); Mateusz Ponitka, St. Petersburg ($7,600)
